Who ever reported that number is just simply wrong. It was unusually large and long (that's what she said), but it was not 20-30 people fighting. Probably a more accurate depiction is 5 to 6 fighting, 5 to 6 actively trying to break it up the whole time and a mob following them and slipping in intermittently to try and break it up.
But also, the vast majority of the fans were pretty far away from the fight. It took place on the second field. There were maybe 15 to 20 fans gathered on the walkway in front of the Lacrosse lockerrooms who had a bird's eye view of the action. If one of them is on Swamp Gas, they could give a better account than me.

This type of stuff is so typical this time of the year, I just don't see this as a big deal. WR's and DB's getting worked in a lather in a practice, nah can't imagine. :)

We had a single off season incident this year. One. I attribute that to Muschamp.

    Moronic statement.

Fights between players is common. I didn't think groups of players fighting was common. I remember watching practice when Urban was here, he would let players go at it but it was usually a 1 on 1 scuffle and the assistant coaches were all over it quickly. ( Hernandez would usually be punching someone wearing a helmet)

Also, certain coaches have that clout, I can't picture a group of players continuing to fight if Meyer were to walk over to them.

I feel that no incidents over the summer is very good and indicates Muschamp is keeping the team under control and disciplined.

This could be an isolated incident and show some intensity but time will tell.

If any of you ever played football (especially at the HS level and above) the Oklahoma drill pretty much leads to fighting. It's a gladiator type drill and people get worked up. I'm glad to see they've got some fire in their belly!

    Please be a bruise
Agreed, but it should take a long time to break up. They're TEAMATES! So I agree to an extent. I like the passion, the intensity, the desire. This may be the edge we need. Please, please be a good sign. Lol

It is up to 25-30 now. Seemingly grows over time.
