Thanks for bringing a measure of reality in the midst of all the frustration. I think a lot of people would feel much better about the future if they could just see some O linemen of quality committing to the program. If it's going to take Will 2-3 more years just to get them into the program and ready to contribute, I'm not sure he has that long a leash. I sure want to see him succeed.

Wow! Nail on the head! Accurate, perceptive, well-organized and well-written. Sending this to a few of my Gator buddies. Thanks for posting.

The silver lining is that we will have a lot more experience next year due to the injuries. We still have the East to play for but maybe they will experiment some on different things since a championship is pretty much out of the realm of possibility. We should be in great shape next year for our undefeated season.

For me, winning championships is not a priority. I am mostly interested in having fun watching the Gators play football, and if they lose b/c the other team was better, I can handle that. When they lose because they keep fumbling the ball, making stupid mistakes, causing dumb penalties -- that's when I stop having fun. So, Saturday's loss was OK with me. I have some issues with the playcalling, but other than that I just felt we were beat by a better team.

I thought our game plan was excellent. We were just a few plays from a win. We must understand the big picture as described by Parker.

Great article. Paints a picture that hopefully can give some of our fans perspective. Although, I am not very optimistic. Misery loves company and we have a full house with the vacancy sign off. Just as Ayn Rand says: "Reason is not automatic. Those who deny it cannot be conquered by it. Do not count on them. Leave them alone."

if top high school O-linemen don't see a lot of development by UF coaches, recruiting will suffer.

Hey Genius....if it's supposed to be behind a pay wall, why in the hell are we able to see it to begin with?

Maybe....because its NOT ONLY FOR PAYING SUBSCRIBERS!!!

Now go back to your elitist roost and leave us rabble to feed on your scraps.

I think the first paragraph was the most important. If Muschamp does not bring in top O-line talent and develope them, then his days are numbered. Everything on offense starts with the O-line and if he refuses to place a premium on that position then his teams will ALWAYS be average to just above average.

People say defense wins championships. BS! Defense and a good offense wins championships. Right now our offense is not very good. If you don't believe me look at the stats and see how we compare to the rest of the conference. Bring in some nasty, tough, SMART offensive lineman and the offense will change tremedously.

    Thank you!!!

What a spot-on, keep your eyes on the big picture, article that should come those fans that are genuinely nervous (not this guy!). Of course, all the trolls on here will just try to keep spreading their disease, but if any Gator starts to fall under the trolls' spells...read this article again!!!!!

If WM losses his job it's because he can't develop an O period. You are not going to win in this league are many leagues with one half a team. I'm not sure if he fails here, maybe he gets a gig at ahmmm Illinois. It's looking more and more like WM is meant to be a DC jmo.
