Totally based on potential because we haven't proven anything yet to the level of competition we have played

Exactly. So who could agree we are the most underrated team in the nation?

Sounds like Danielson's simply promoting our game on Saturday.
Nothing much else to see here.

WINS are the only thing that will prove him right.

Fortunately, I think we will do that.

Having never ranked the "underratedness" of the 100+ teams in the BCS, I wouldn't feel comfortable making the argument that we are the most underrated, but I strongly believe that we are very underrated now.

Agree completely. There have been times in the past when the Gators were overrated, such as 1997 and 2007 , but this is the most underrated I've ever seen us. Folks, this is a really, really good football team but almost nobody understands that yet. The Gators have been completely written off as a viable contender in the SEC East by the media. I heard one pundit say that if FSU beat Clemson, they'd "sail" comfortably to the national title game. It's almost as if we don't exist.

Considering that turnovers were not an issue for this offense last year -- minus the UGA game -- I expect the Miami performance to be an aberration this season. I rewatched the Miami game last night -- on defense, after Miami's second TD, we thoroughly dominated them; on offense, on plays that didn't involve a turnover or penalty, the offense looked hard to stop. So, if the defense can find its groove slightly earlier in the game, and if the offense can play a cleaner game (I think it can for sure), then I agree with Gary D's assessment.

    Go Gators.

"He’s building his team on toughness, strength and line of scrimmage dominance; you are going to have to answer those questions when you lose a game," Danielson said. "With that said, there are some shocking parts of this Florida team. There is a lack of talent at the wide receiver position. And for the Florida fan, that’s hard to figure out.

"Muschamp’s had three recruiting classes and they have not been able to find a player that makes their offense elite."

I have no doubt our players have the ability to put up 40 points a game, just like A&M & UGA, but we don't have a PLAN to do that. The plan is to win 17-6 and win time of possession. Until that plan changes, we will only be a team of potential.
