Oh, I know. He's got the itch for FSU right now, but he'll meet the new coaches, we will have our say, and we'll likely build momentum. There's nothing more refreshing-or exciting-sometimes than change.

You can't count Muschamp out of any head-to-head battle.

Why wouldn't we recruit both yearby and dc?

Seems like a great duo even if we don't like yearby as much he is an insane athlete. And having one of cooks best friends would raise our chances no?

With how small our RB board is, it's crazy we're not pushing for all the top prospects

They made a decision a long time ago that Cook was the back they wanted. I dont think they liked Yearby that much and I dont think those two want to play together even though it might happen.. Yearby is great but what does he bring to the table Kelvin doesnt?

I don't think it's a kelvin vs Yearby question. itis a yearby vs Matt jones situation

    KT or DC

    Yearby or MJ

    Jumbo set sub: Adam lane

I think that DC and KT would be the first people on the field. No matter what.

So what does Yearby bring to the table? A VERY capable back up. Bama has shown that you only need one year of starting to get drafted. He would be splitting reps with Matt jones, NOT kelvin.

They are still very high on Matt Jones and Adam Lane. They went for Cook and a bigger back which I believe was the right choice. Yeraby is tough but he is pretty small and it will be interesting to see how he holds up in college especially since he is not a burner.

Sooooooooooooooooo whats the deal with Cook? We have a long thread about him leaning to FSU and then maybe to UF. Is there any accurate info out there? If he is an EE (thought I read it somewhere) we don't have much time to keep him.

Here is the deal Miami UF and FSU are all in it. He says he will make his final decison on the 14th but there is really nothing stopping him from changing his mind a few weeks later lets just see where he enrolls

I dont think care about who we get as OL recruits. And right now Miami would probably win that battle if he did

I've read that there are questions about wether Cook is still an EE. Apparently there are some issues about that and he may end up being a NSD LOI signer instead.

@LukeStampini: Al Golden may go in-home with 5-star RB Dalvin Cook 2 or more times before Will Muschamp gets to Miami next Thursday.

Yeah and he also signed a financial aid agreement with FSU, which means it guarantees that both schools must offer him a scholarship. However, it's non-binging.

Doesn't feel good that's for sure.

Why would Golden have two in-homes... thought an HC could only have one?

I sure hope Muschamp can save this. The offensive players in this class are so important to how we do on the field next couple seasons. Maybe something exciting comes from his OC/OL hires.
