Cook is just as important now as he was before he started wavering. He would see plenty of PT. He's a change of pace back and he's faster than any other RB we have. He can be used in the slot and jet sweeps. He'd be a major addition

What's with the semis on the board?....oh yeah, I forgot, they're not allowed to discuss recruiting on their own board.

I know a few Noles, and they all have told me there have been rumblings that both will go. Obviously, I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it's not impossible.

There is certainly a chance they go, Wilder really wanted to go but the season didnt turn out like he wanted. Them going or not is really not the problem. If FSU is selling playing time they have to convince Dalvin they are going and he has to believe it. They are also telling him he could be mentored by Freeman so I dont know how he would be mentored if Freeman is in the NFL or Publix.

Agree. He's a game changing player and he complements the skill players we have. He'd make everyone better much the way Percy did for us.

Lets see, Matt Jones(injury prone), Mack Brown(gone after next year), Adam Lane(has never played a down). Yeah, we're loaded.
    As lucky as Kelvin Taylor?

I can't understand why you think most people believe that.

    That's an odd notion.

Cook will play game one for us if he comes here. I'm not talking mop up duty either. He has elements to his game no one on our roster has.

How much of the offense would you(or any poster) believe a RB has to learn to make an impact? I'm not interested in DC being a good blocker as a FR... I could not care less. If putting him in tells a defense we're running the ball, great. Wouldn't that be what you want so you can just run play action though? It seems to me he needs to know maybe 10 plays(?) by first game and if he, and the OL, know those he's going to make an impact. It just doesn't seem that difficult.

As for recruiting, I would like to believe we're going to announce new coaches well before NSD that will get to know DC. Maybe we end up with an OC from a school where all DC needs to do is watch their film. Hopefully Coach(s) are in his ear asking him for enough faith and respect to wait until he meets his new OC before he flips.

FSU at the moment looks like the team to beat, but Miami is closing strong. Its going to take a monumental effort from UF to keep him committed based on what i'm hearing.

So disappointing. He is a guy who could probably help right away. I'm still optimistic because I have no inside information to steer me otherwise. Muschamp needs to camp outside of his house or something.

My gut says he really hasn't decided yet and this thing could drag out past the 15th (I dont really believe in insiders)
