Franks was 7 of 19 for 30 yards passing and an interception. Bad decisions. Emory could be up to snuff by the UGA game.

    Heggie had a concussion earlier.

You are not sure the gap that our 3 best playmakers Malik Davis, Cleveland and Toney being hurt cost us versus UGA? No play makers no points. You are not sure the gap of playing a walk on at LB who UGA went after hurt us?

UF has depth at every offensive position now and if Franks continues performances like the last UGA game there will be a new QB for the UGA game. Helping the next UGA game. Saban and Meyer wanted Jones so we will see if he proves them right.

Mullin will have much more firepower versus UGA than he had at MSU. Smart had a fully healthy team. Hard to do that annually. Odds against it.

Georgia and FSU have more talent than UF at this early point in the process. FSU has home field advantage. Mullen has more head coaching experience than both of them. That's why they play the game.

Can IF beat the Dawgs? Sure

We will have a better chance then we had in 2017.

    Will we be favored? NO

But that's why be play the game.

I think a better question is will we beat the NOLES?

You are right, we will be better. How much better remains to be seen. It's hard to count on Franks or a true FR to lead us there but it could happen.

We will see on Jones. UGA's true freshman QB worked out OK for them. Mullen's system is easier for a new QB than Mac's but we will see how it plays out.

Franks needs to prove he can spot open WRs. Our former Acquinas QB Allen is very smart and a very dedicated QB. Trask needs to develop his leadership skills but he has played in a spread type offense in high school. Like Mascotte said we just need to see what they do this Spring before jumping to conclusions.

Best comment of the thread... it certainly looks like Georgia will dominate, now... but a lot can happen during a season... Key injuries or suspensions in a couple of places, and a team can change dramatically... that being said... Georgia will have a much greater margin for error next season than we've had in years...

I can see us being favored against FSU in 2019 at the Swamp... It's tough to see us pull one out in Doak next season with all of the question marks we still have... As of now, I'd say they are more talented.... and they have the home field advantage...
