^^^This little gem from your quote:

Not even adequate for f'n TEXAS, but the lazy a$$ dummy-rats who were so piss in a hurry to get anything passed through, passed a pirated plan that isn't even adequate for Texas.

    NOTE:

    USA>Texas

    Texas>MA.

    ...and of course/ergo:

    USA>>>>MA.

    Reminder:

    FU politics begets FU politics.

...and the neo-libby dummy-rats will not be in power forever.

    What comes around...

If the GOP keeps saying no I will feel like those who I elected are representing me.

A lot of oft-over looked common sense in this post.

People often debate so much around the true topic, they lose perspective of the actual issues.

You hit it(Hammer->Nail). This administration was so hungry to push some kind of meaningful legislature through, they didn't want to stop and think about the details. Just get the damn thing through, no matter how careless.

It was debated over the course of a year. No amount of time would have satisfied the people opposed to it on principle.

Made even more horrible by the fact that it's plagiarized.

no, its a compromise to attain universal health care while keeping the private sector in-tact

back in the day it was being formulated, conservatives actually had some empathy for citizens, and this was a way to achieve the above

far from perfect, but a compromise

its quite generic, too generic in-fact to quote, and you are presuming I was taking credit for it....

mildly witty nonetheless and it makes the point

debated between the democratic party and the health care industry maybe, any opposing opinions from the other side of the aisle were not welcome.

0 started his presidency with a FU policy towards the pubs and then wants to blame them for not being willing to compromise. I guess after you run out of knives to stick the other guy in the back with you no longer want to engage in combat

Pubs are just worried that the ACA will actually work. That's why they're trying to shut it down before there is a good picture of its results. I'm sure some tweaking will need to be done, but first we need to see what works.

Just like SS and Medicare have become, Obamcare will end up being accepted as a very effective and important protection for this nation

It hasn't even worked in MA. I'm not worried about it not working. I'm worried about the fact that once it's implemented it will be entrenched just like every other entitlement. Any thought of reducing it will be met with accusations of bigotry and heartlessness. True conservatives will always be the bad guy so we may as well be the bad guy that stopped the train wreck before it happens.

That's what the Pubs said about Medicare and SS. This old song and dance by the Pubs just doesn't hold water. Let's get the results in and see what needs to be tweaked.

My hope is that the nation will someday, in the not too distant future, agree that single-payer is the most effective and efficient method of providing health care.

Medicare and SS don't "work". They appear to work because the gov't pulls in enough money to pay the tab, but that won't always be the case. Adding Obamacare just accelerates us to insolvency.

Both of these programs are highly effective and easily salvageable for the future with a little tweaking.
