And the cause here was the Republicans are finally looking out for what the majority of the American people want (in literally every poll)... saying NO to Obamacare.

But what else can be done since Obama and Reid shut down the government with their total refusal to negotiate and make the stipulations for Obamacare fair and equal for EVERYBODY? All we heard from them was how this was such a "huge crisis" but they were playing golf and taking the weekend off while the Republicans were busy on the floor of the House passing four different bills of compromise.

Oh no, the elitist liberal socialists can't have that, so they shut down the govt. ran to their cheerleaders media and cried to them, and now the Republicans are unrightly blamed.

Now we have Obama and Reid saying NO to helping kids with cancer? They're soulless friggin' monsters IMO. Their party agenda and power is more important than little innocent kids? REPREHENSIBLE!

Libs can spin this all they... their Obama cheerleading LMSM can blame the Republicans all they want, but it's pretty obvious that more people than Obama wants know that this is his mess.

How about if I just leave a box of matches and a can of gasoline in your house and come back and set your house on fire a year from now?

Polls say the majority favor increasing taxes on the rich, increasing the minimum wage and instituting background checks for gun sales so why aren't republicans fighting for these things? Also, if they care about kids with cancer they can vote to end the shutdown.

get in the back of the bus were driving now

elections have consequences and were in charge now

0care passed without a single republican vote or consideration of their input

lot of compromising from your fearless leader. he came in with a big head and a big chip on his shoulder and dismissed everybody with an opposing opinion and he then pontificates about how others are unwillling to compromise and his lemmings believe him.

utterly amazing that seemingly intelligent people are unwilling or mentally or emotionally incapable of realizing this is the bed he made due to his own actions.

    -"Obamacare" term isn't so popular
    -"ACA" is more popular
-When people are polled on the details of the bill, it is very popular

I mean, who the hell would be against allowing people with pre-existing conditions to not be denied insurance?

To not allow insurers to rescind customers that don't fit into their profit margins?

Only someone that has no empathy for his fellow citizens....someone willing to cut off their nose to spite their face

The Republicans are losing this fight in a bad way. You'd think that after the last election they would be smart enough to moderate their positions, but of course they are not smart enough to do so. While I would love to keep on winning Presidential elections, at some point I wish the right would regain their sanity so that this country could once again be governable. Sadly the hatred and bigotry that control the right does not seem to be going away soon. I wonder what buffoon they will put forward next - Ted Cruz or the vastly "experienced" Marco Rubio?

Romney care was a compromise crafted in cooperation with one of the most liberal state legislative bodies in the country and yet the left still wants to identify it as a conservative plan

no I was supporting Huntsman but at least Romney had proved that he was willing to work with the legislative body elected by the people that he was elected to lead from the executive branch side.

too bad 0 is unwilling/unable to do the same.

You're right - I should probably make some generic comment railing against 47% of the country, but that would be devisive. You don't do that kind of thing.

That most liberal of think tanks, the Heritage Foundation, originally came up with many of the core ideas, including that of an individual mandate, in their policy papers...

Haha...this very post reeks of fail. You hate it when we call you out on your nonsense. The fact that I can so easily play offense suggests that your position is wrong.
