Not huge news here I guess. I'm always interested in seeing what games get this attention. No matter where the game is, its draws a lot of focus to both teams. Should be a great game and I'd even bet we'll have a thread about it once February rolls around:grin:

Well, football college gameday loves UF. What is this, like the third time we've ever been on it? I just checked, this will actually be our 5th time (link). This should be Kentucky's 9th, who seem to have been on every year except 2009.

Being on Game Day is a plus if you are at home. I do not see why it is a good thing if you are the visitor.

Bigger plus for the home team by far, but IMO still big for visitors. They get talked about more than any other team (besides the home team) on that day on both Gameday shows. It gives the visiting team a huge chance to play spoiler and get a lot of attention because of it.

I don't think it's fair that we have to play at UK on 2/1 and 2/15.

Actually, I DVR game day and spend about 30 minutes the next day trying to find something worthwhile to watch.

Hopefully the new Fox 1 will improve things.

They had to pick a quality opponent for UK to get the best ratings possible. I guess Florida is everybody's Superbowl.
