Have you heard the term 'fair weather friend' before? That's him... When we're expected to win he's okay, but when we're not, like this year... he's an ass.

    Colin:

"Kansas getting a BCS game is a joke. Their best win was against a terrible Big 12 Colorado team. Teams like Florida and LSU have hard schedules so it is OK to have stub a toe every now and then because they beat a ton of ranked teams a year"

You're right, he is hard on us when we're losing, or expected to lose. But he's always hard on all big time programs when they're not very good, or have obvious flaws. We're not the only ones. It's his shtick, It gets attention.

    I'm aware.

I actually appreciated his comment. He's not an announcer, his job is to give his opinion. It may not be professional to admit you're susceptible to bias, but it's refreshing that he admits it.

I know, but nothing has happened to change his opinion. USC is much worse now.

My point was, no one will find a quote where he states states the PAC is better than the SEC

Could it possibly be because they deserved it based on the game today?

"Is Will Muschamp still up for Texas Longhorns job or is it the Patriots gig this week he's in line for. Maybe win at UF first huh?"

Who said Muschamp was up for either of those jobs? And by who, I mean who credible. The only people propagating these rumors are from ESPN, so if he wants to antagonize his company and his bosses, then be my guest, but don't antagonize a HC and team and fanbase that has nothing to do with the RUMOR=News ESPN bullsh!t machine.

"Maybe win at UF first" = Absolutely a shot at our program and our head coach. It was a cheap attempt at humor by goading a fanbase in the middle of a game and belittling the accomplishments of Will Muschamp. It is the ultimate in attention-whoring.

I know Cowherd and his biases and this doesn't fit the bill. He is upset at something, but I am confident his anger is completely misplaced. If he thinks the rumors are absurd he should have taken firmer stances when idiots like Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin were rumored for other jobs and falsely DENIED those rumors, but he didn't. If he thinks the rumors are absurd he should take it up with his bosses, but he won't.

Cowherd used to be all football talk all day. Now he is more about controversy/Skip Bayless/Kardashian type garbage.

He is one of the biggest tools on air. I used to listen to him a while back. He's so full of himself it's pretty ridiculous. Tilly, you're crazy... Lol

Hey! I never said he wasn't fool of himself!

As for his tweets today, my guess is he was hearing some crap from folks and returned the favor. That what happens on twitter.

The rumors were on twitter last week, so he responded in kind.

I dont like what he said tonight either, but I dont agree that it is representative of his body of work.

I think Texas was motivated to beat OU after hearing our coaching staff might be on its way to replace Mack and crew.
