Dude is amazing, is he our "head of recruiting?"
No Joker is
He is our DB coach too right?
I remember when Meyer left I was thinking the one coach of all the coaches I didn't want to lose was our DB coach (can't remember his name right now - Billy Gonzales maybe?), and instead he brings in T-Rob a relatively unknown (to me anyway) graduate assistant. I was like WTF?
This is just more proof... trust the coach!
Of course with that said, our CB's sucked on ice in the Sugarbowl.
Duh... that's right about Billy G. Maybe it was Bedford... I'm real bad with names.
Anyway, go T-Rob!!!
Who can keep up with the revolving door at DB and WR coaching positions? At least Robinson has stayed three years (is that right?). Credit to Charlie Strong that there was more stability at the defensive positions while he was here. Then again, Strong coached at UF under four or five different head coaches. He inspired a lot of loyalty.
When our current D and O coordinators leave to take head coaching jobs, I could see Robinson and Phillips settling into those positions for a long time. Phillips has certainly had enough of the head coach experience by now. Robinson might want to take the long and not so winding Charlie Strong road to a head coaching position, assuming he wants one at all.
Enviro might be thinking of Chuck Heater, who I also really liked.
In title or in theory?
Yes he coaches both corners and safeties
In title. Haha
