He may be a little eccentric and at times has a funny way to express his thoughts but when you see these kinds of comments you cannot dispute his passion and respect for the game....

    Interesting clip, thanks Bazza.

KAGator67, if you're not bothered by it, why bother post at all?

Sorry I didn't see it until now - but when I clicked on your link - it didn't pull up the video but rather took me to an advertisement.

Try embedding the video next time Nubla....just copy the video URL into the link button window. Most prefer to watch the video right in the post.

Actually, that was an excellent quote, almost Spurrierish in passion.

His point was 14-6 last year they lose, 17-6 this year they win, neither team is that much better than the other, and either team in either game was a couple plays from changing the outcome. It's a hat tip to us as well as his own team.

Respectful to UF and to the game. No problem with any of what he said.

This is spot on the money.

That's what I feel a lot of people fail to think about when we micro-analyse every last play. Sometimes, teams outperform others. It's not an absolute level of supremacy or indicative of a fundamental ailment - it's sports.

I find in my own coaching that no matter of preparation, coaching and encouragment takes away the % of the outcome determined by circumstance and in close games like this with quality players all over the field, I feel it gets ignored all too often in an Instant-Analysis Media world.

Sometimes, good teams beat other good teams. Murphy completes that throw to Dunbar in the end zone or we stop the 3rd and 17 that led to the TD... who knows. That's 2 plays but the impact could have been enormous.

I see no problem with anything he said. He was being respectful of our program as much as his own. Gotta give him credit for that.

In addition--I like Miles. He is not now, nor ever has been one to sugar coat his words or feelings. He says exactly what is on his mind and you have to respect him for that. As one poster said, he is a lot like SOS in that regard and I can definitely appreciate it.

He's done a very good job over at LSU, even with a few quirky games he had some brain farts in.

He does sound funny for sure...passionate about his team. I agree he is giving props to BOTH teams. Would like to see them again in Atlanta if we can get our O Line Fixed.

I bet you guys like how he brings out the "chippiness" in his players too.
Trying to get the other gif of Murphy getting his helmet ripped off and the LSU player on their first TD abusing our player after the score by kicking him.

He sounds like a professional wrassler cutting his own promo. It reminds me of when the nation was captivated by the Rock and Stone Cold. They cussed; everybody cheers. And Miles can't seem to help but blurt out a naughty word every time he's on camera. He really gets off on it.

I wish Muschamp was that cool...

 He loves to draw attention to himself.

If LSU ever decides to fire him, Vince McMahon of the WWE would be all over his schtick.

He is an evil genius. He played our gameplan and beat us with it. I mentioned this in another thread but Miles is pretty spiteful. He was getting back for last years defeat. He ran it down our throats and won by two scores while holding us to 6. He knew if he threw the ball he'd be risking a pick 6 so why let the defense have that chance?
