I'm guessing Steve wasn't as quotable after Tenn kicked a FG to pretty much ruin USCe's chances at winning the SEC East. He is probably rereading his copy of the ART of WAR as we speak. He really pulled one on Tenn's coach Butch Jones with his pre-game digs. Steve was totally in UT's head. His funny comments totally disarmed Tennessee. Oh, it's okay. USCe might beat Mizzou and TXAM might beat Mizzou later in the year in which case Cocky wins the tie breaker but that also means Cocky wins out which I am not sure they will. UF versus Cocky will be fun because I literally won't care who wins.

Remember when one of the Gator games was broadcast on CBS and someone had a sign that read: Can't Beat Spurrier

The pathetic ejection on the so-called targeting was huge. Notice that all 3 ejections in the SEC favored the home team. They had to play a second-string safety out of position for the remainder of the game. Plus apparently Shaw fumbled even though an SC player came out of the pile with the ball. Only in the corrupt SEC.

Not for me. Chris Leak is my favorite Gator because he had to endure all the discomfort and hate from much of the Gator Nation to overcome all odds and do what he came here for and promised the world to do - win a National Championship.

He had to overcome the hate from the fans, as well as the comparisons to Tebow, and still triumphed, in spite of having to deal with an offensive system completely unsuitable for him.

And did it with complete and utter class and humility.

And I love and respect Danny Wuerffel, and donated to Desire Street Ministries, as well has helped push resources to him during Katrina. And I would happily do the same for Tim Tebow, a tremendous human being who believes football is only a small part of his life.

People like Leak, Wuerffel and Tebow have priorities far more grounded than the talking head at ESPN would ever have...

The fans sometimes booed when Chris was playing. Led Gators to the NC against the Bucknuts. I was thrilled for him. He was a class act and never angry at the fans. A truly great Gator and person.

UT had the last and most satisfying laugh at the OBC expense.

Steve may be a cock in Columbia, but he's still a prick everywhere else.

I hate the rule but the SC safety Marcus left his feet and made a helmet to helmet (side of the facemask) hit on a receiver (Howard). The play did meet the strict interpretation of the rule against "targeting". SC has a much stronger argument over Neal's "incomplete pass" near the end of the first half. That was a fumble. The call against Ray Drew at Vandy was ridiculous, however.

It wasn't helmet to helmet. I've seen much worse not called against the home team in the SEC, including Shaw getting a concussion with no flag on a sack a couple of years ago at Arkansas. Video showed that he was likely unconscious BEFORE he hit the ground.

    SEC refs are corrupt.
