This one almost made me cry

@JoshatTheState: Spurrier: "Will be the 14th time I've coached in Neyland Stadium. ... I've coached there more than some of their head coaches."

Wow. Probably has a better record in that stadium than some of their head coaches.

Don't you just love Spurrier? He always has a great line when it comes to teams like Tennessee, Georgia and FSU!

Spur's is just telling the truth. I think he knows he owns the Vols and just wants to remind them.

I'd rather have those two crystal trophies myself, rather than see Tim win one of them for Alabama. Spurrier is happy where he is, where no one will question him for failing to win 10 games every year...

I don't blame him. Volsheimer's requires a lot of reminders.

Really? After the first loss because nobody can block and the QB throws 3 int's into coverage you'll be calling for his head.

Unless....Tebow would've went to Bama instead

I'm just glad another set of fans got to enjoy what Spurrier is all about. Hard to appreciate his humor when he's hanging 70 on your team.

When has he ever done that at USCe? He's scored half a hundred five times in 9 years. He averaged that at Florida in 2001...

Spurrier's first victory at Neyland was a quarter century ago - a 31-26 upset when he was at Duke in 1988. Just like at Florida we couldn't stop the fade or the corner route passes. I remember the big concern at the time on Knox radio was "I sure hope Georgia doesn't get him." LOL! - Vince Dooley was retiring at the end of that season and Galen Hall seemed secure at the time. History does have a sense of humor.

He's going to end up coaching longer at Carolina than Florida. Something to think about.

    Classic dig?

    Come on.

Not buying it. Spurrier likes to hear himself talk. He is real fascinated by himself too. Not that many other people are listening anymore though. Let me know if he ever wins the SEC at Cocky. He might this year. He might. We will see.

He's lucky UGA has all the injuries, UF too, and Tenn is down, guess all that makes him feel chirpy. Okay. Part of his shtick. He's like a comedienne with a few good routines that he thinks never get old, I'm yawning but whatever, and he just keeps going back to his routines. A few people in the front row can't get enough of it so he just keeps pulling out the same old lines.

5 minutes ago I didn't know, or care, that USCe and Tenn play this week but suddenly I hope the Vols win. I won't be watching either way but I'll check the score.
