Agree on all counts here. Lauderdale can contribute right away... or as soon as he learns the offense. Where as that's probably not true about Lane. Things sound real positive for Adoree too, and he is a big play athlete at WR.

Bo would be a grand slam at RB. The other guys on our board look nice, but Bo is a game changer, where as the other guys are most likely depth and would probably be redshirted.

If we could nail all three of those guys? Wow! And maybe even Mackenzie. Huge class and huge gets in positions of need.

@rivalsmike: Why do I get the feeling Adoree Jackson might end up at #Florida in the end. Track, track, track.” Adoree is now choosing his last visit for either Florida, or USC. He posted pictures of being in a Florida uniform, and has been giving pro-Gator tweets all week. I've said all week nothing is set and stone, but if I were a betting man, I'd bet that Jackson ends up in Orange and Blue.

Florida has the majority of picks for Treon Harris on the 247 Crystal Ball predictions.

If it were a wishlist, I'd have Carter up there, I'd have Mckenzie up there, and I'd have Bo Scarborough up there.

We could get none of these guys. I don't feel entirely comfortable saying for sure that we will get a single one of them. That said, I think we lead on Prince and Adoree, and are behind Georgia for Carter but not by much.

Like I said, I'm still picking Carter to Georgia. I'm just confident that we have a pretty significant shot at him, still.

It's so nice to have the luxury of not needing all these players. Jackson, Prince, Carter, and Scarborough would all fill voids on the team (and in this class) but none of them will make or break what the coaches have built. If Bo flips to us, Gator Country might break for a week.

Lane and Treon Harris are really good friends, but I think the bridge may be burnt there.

The fact that we are trying to flip that 3-star Mizzou commit makes me think that the coaches know Carter isn't coming.

Now I see that your credibility is zero . You conveniently forget to post Farrell's subsequent tweet that he is NOT predicting Jackson to Florida. You mention 247 crystal ball projections for Harris (I believe we are 40% in those projections for him by the way) but don't mention that more than 80% of projections are for Jackson to USC and that we are third by that measure for Prince (with Maryland having the majority). All of these 247 projections seem very out of date, by the way as the summaries don't give more weight to more recent projections. I have no idea whether you will be proven right, but it is clear that your projections are just your optimistic guesses. I think it is more likely that we get none of those top guys than it is that we get all of them.

Alot of coin flips on that list, and we usually haven't come out on top when it came to a coin flip on signing day.

But if I had a guess, my guess would be we finish with Prince, Jackson, Lauderdale, Mckenzie, and Scott. With Carter not likely, but would be a nice surprise.

I would probably say less than a 5% chance on Bo unless our coaches can work some magic. He's already stated several times recently he's going to Bama.

Damn, dude. Who served you a chit sandwich?

He didn't say we were getting all these guys. He even said we might get none of them.

In his opinion we lead for two guys - Adoree and Prince, and we trail for Carter. He's hardly the only person that shares those exact views, and none of us know what these guys are thinking. They may still be conflicted about where to go.

FWIW, a Terp recruiting blogger thinks we lead for Prince. Most folks think Adoree goes USC, but our track program is a big factor in our favor. It's all speculation unless you know these guys very, very well. And none of us do.

    Still don't get that.

    Huh?

What do you mean? What has the staff built?

Prince, Carter, Scarborough could amount to Tebow/Percy.

Hope to see you eat crow once we land at least one of them. Until then, I'm not going to pretend like I have any credibility. I'm just a fan who follows recruiting like everyone else here. No need to get heated about it.

If a set of top recruits have multiple choices left, getting one of four is good. Hard to get half of those types.

We have gotten more than that and been shut out. If we get two of the big names it willl be great, better than that would be amazing.

But won't get my hopes too high knowing the odds.

I'm going to add Andrew Mike to this list (a **** OL). I think we "oversign" and see one more drop out of the class or a transfer. Crystal ball now has him at 70%, and the coaches are talking to him a lot. Doubt it's a backup plan for Prince, because I'm pretty sure Prince is going to be a Gator.

Zach A. mentioned the possibility of losing Dorsey. A lot of people like Dorsey, but from what I've seen, Mike is just as good or better. Different levels of competition in HS, though.

Dorsey is a true guard, while Mike is a pure tackle so I'm not sure the two are comparable. Mike reminds me of Sharpe in that he is raw, but super athletic. I wonder how much having a veteran OL coach is giving us some confidence going after a few guys that need to be coached up but have a super high ceiling.

Yeah, not really comparable outside of how I think they would help the team. It's hard because Prince and Sharpe are tackles, but depth never hurts.

Crystal ball now at 80+% for the Gators on Eric Lauderdale. He removed Oregon from his final 3.
