We don't seem to have a thread for it, so I'll go ahead and start one up. Close to a month left in recruiting, and I'm starting to get a feel for who we will/won't have in the class. Hope everyone else posts their predictions as well.

I think we miss on Lo Carter, which means we will probably pass on Autry. If we get Carter, I bet we take Autry instead of Johnson. I think Angus doesn't qualify (only from what I've heard, I have no inside knowledge on this), but JC Jackson sticks. I don't think FSU will take another DB, and that he may have burned the Miami bridge a while ago. Most indications are that he is solid, anyway. I think we have all the momentum in the world for Prince and Adoree Jackson. There's a chance we will miss on one, but I doubt both. I think Maryland was the dark horse for Prince until we landed Tabor. Jackson is less of a sure thing, but we seem to lead as of now. Still lots of time left.

If we get all those players I'd be very happy. Top 3 best in the nation for sure. But man do I hope we land Carter...

I'd say he's probably 50/50 right now, but I just can't see how the late visit to Georgia won't be the deciding factor.

I will say that if we take Autry and Georgia doesn't, that would be pretty big for us.

I am hopeful that McKenzie becomes a Gator. He is an important piece to this class if you ask me.

I think he is ND bound, but I know he has a visit with us soon. That could change things.

You mean that this is some sort of a wish list, right? If we can land Prince, I will be very happy. We do not have the momentum with Jackson. Treon Harris? Really?

I don't think we land Harris. More likely to pick up Scott at RB instead.

Mckenzie will visit UF this weekend and also has a visit lined up to Ole Miss (Jan 24) and then ND (Jan 31). He wanted to commit to ND earlier but couldn't bc of qualifications (grades i think). He has since, cleared those concerns up and was told by ND that he could go ahead and commit since he qualified. He actually turned ND down when they told him this and said he wanted to take his visits. He's turned them down once already so i think its pretty open.

Less than three weeks! I think everyone sticks (except for Angus) and we also land AJ, Prince, Lauderdale and maaaaaaaybe McKenzie. Would love to throw Carter in that mix but it's gonna take a big effort.

If you read Lane's Twitter, you get a pretty good idea that he's not recommitting to UF. He spends a lot of time on there and is pretty clear that he feels "hate" coming from Gator Nation for his decision to decommit. I think it's just modern internet culture of young people feeling free to say whatever they want from behind a keyboard and Lane is taking it a little too personally, but to each his own I guess.

It's another solid class, but unfortunately, outside of Grier, UF isn't going to be getting a lot of star power at the offensive skill positions (unless Adoree can play and contribute at WR). If UF lands Prince, then the OL needs will have been met very nicely, however. The only other miss seems to be at Buck if Lo Carter doesn't commit. GOod work from the staff all things considered.

We didn't have serious needs to fill at offensive skill positions. We took care of that last year with all those WRs, plus Taylor and Lane. Redshirting Lane gives us one additional RB we didn't have last year. Ermon Lane would have been nice, but there were serious concerns about him after the all star game. The WR crop in Florida is much better in 2015. That said, I think we get Lauderdale, possibly McKenzie and one more RB.

Champ is pulling out all the stops to get Carter. If we miss, it's not because we didn't try. Our own BergermanV is putting out very positive vibes to the universe pointing Carter to UF. If we do get him, he gets all the credit.

Lauderdale would help us more next year than Lane. He's bigger, more physical and had success against very competitive northern Cali JUCO teams. Ermon couldn't get open against future Gator DBs in the all star game. That doesn't bode well for getting open in the SEC. He will be more successful in the ACC.

Landing Bo would indeed be huge. Rumor has it he took many unofficial trips to Gainesville this last fall.
