Who administers these test? Sounds like you are doing what you accuse the right of-that is believing every far left outlet that comes along.

right. he first accuses the entire msm. when that doesn't work, he changes it to the evening network news, which is either impossible or extremely difficult to prove.
the fact is that the media has covered it.

Yeah-just like the Bucs covered Danny Amendola last night. They were there but not effective.

He very clearly clarified his position. Your ignoring it is not a concern of mine. Nor is it a surprise.

And if you had a clue how to use the internet you would know it isn't difficult at all to Google what was broadcast on the networks for that day. But for you it seems it is always easier to attack. Here is what was broadcast on ABC News on Thursday night as referenced by Gatordowneast. Please let us know where you find the church burning story.

Well River-if you don't watch them then you can't say it was reported so I guess you are propagating a lie.

Gatordowneast already did it and reported back for Friday. But all you can do is ignore what he says. I have provided you Thursday for one of the big three.

By the way, I am sure for people just like yourself if you go to the website you will see each story for the news Thursday evening screen captured along with a brief description. It should take you 10 minutes tops..... ok maybe 20 minutes for you  to try and prove gatordowneast wrong.

    Good luck.

    It's a pretty limited definition.

Which makes it all the more sad that certain folks couldn't figure it out.

No, just kind of silly given that "the mainstream media" is a pretty damn big enterprise and selecting out a tiny sample of 2 of 3 network channels half hour news segment does not a good sample make.

Still can't read can you? He clearly stated all three and was specific. If you want to call him out for starting the post with MSM that is fine but he did have the courtesy to specify for you and thus far he seems to be right.

It wasn't that long ago that ABC, NBC and CBS were the MSM by themselves. Times do change, and the story was found elsewhere but so far nobody has been able to refute gatordowneasts statement that it wasn't there on Friday. It was a very clear statement and rather than going off in other directions you might want to find proof that refutes what he said or drop it.

Well it's kind of hard to refute unless folks watched all three. That's kind of a silly argument to make.

Whether 2 or 3 he watched. It was one night and there are a heck of a lot more mainstream media than just the network news. Limiting it to just the three networks for 1/2 hr on one night is not a good sample and not evidence of much of anything at all except cherry picking.

Not hard to check at all as I pointed out to river but that would require more reading on your part.

I did and those same networks plus a bunch of other mainstream news sites covered it online.

In any case, the main story is the chaos, suffering and brutal killings in Egypt, regardless of particular background.

    This is what Gatordowneast posted:
Clearly there is a reading comprehension problem with some people on this board. Could be that they can only read the left side of the pages.

I did a thorough scan of the links that river provided.
The following are the references to the Muslim Brotherhood in the link
    From the CNN link:
    From the ABC link:
    From the NYT link:
That is it on the Muslim Brotherhood. Looks like CNN was glossing over the "WHO" part of this story.

    From the Wa Po link:
From both of the Reuters links:
That is all the info on the Muslim Brotherhood from those links. Looks like MSM was glossing over the "WHO" part of this story. I guess they did not want to offend Obama's Muslim Brotherhood buddies.

Ironically Aljazeera an Arab non-western base organization was the only news agency that provided more information on the "WHO" of the story than other above listed MSM news outlets.

    From the Aljazeera link:

By the way I would of listed the other news agencies but they are not on the left thus the much more learned and un-bias posters on this board would reject what I just offered. Thus I rest my case on Aljazeera

So let's see what we have. I think most people recognize that the mainstream media consists of more than just the nightly 30-minute news shows on ABC, NBC and CBS. But I suppose you can pretend that's the entirety of the MSM if you're trying to claim outrage over something.
Otherwise, we know that there's been a ton of horrific violence in Egypt. Over the last few days, some of that has been directed at Christians and Christian churches. We know that many news outlets have reported that. But we do have one person who says he watched all three Thursday evening newscasts and during them (about 21 minutes of news each) none focused specifically on the violence against Christians.
And it appears that we supposed to believe that's because the three networks have some kind of anti-Christian, pro-Muslim bias. Is that it?

I don't watch network news, but the ABC news story that river linked was reported Thursday, and CNN's story was early morning Friday.

Not sure what the perceived problem is here.
