I heard rumors of this yesterday but saw no mention on the news. Why do you suppose this isn't being reported by the MSM? News reports are about military shooting protestors or militants killing police. Doesn't seem to be a storyline of "muslim" brotherhood attacking/burning Christian churches. Hmmm. Wonder why not?

    http://www.ncregister.com/daily-new...as-christians-die-and-churches-burn-in-egypt/

In the US, what would the MSM do if law enforcement tried to close a mosque suspected of inciting extremism? Yet where are they when Muslims burn churches in Egypt?

Funny, but a google search shows the opposite. But hey, don't let me get in the way of another rant. ;)

Was speaking of the network news. I taped 2 of the 3 6:30 broadcasts and watched the third just to see...no mention.

Even so, it's still being covered, but network news works on a limited time frame and the violence is simply widespread right now.

These are all a result of Catholic organizations bringing it to the attention of those reporting. Did any of you realize any of this had happened before I brought it to your attention? Has it been mentioned in any of the threads on too hot?

Frankly I had not heard about it until yesterday on a radio show. I watched for it last night. Nothing. I finally saw an article this morning....buried, along with articles on Iraq blowing up. Maybe nobody cares? Certainly liberals don't. It may be similar to Benghazi...does not fit the regime's story line.

Yep. But then again, I don't get my news from the networks. I heard about it from friends at church and then found it online. Still no story on CNN that I have seen but I could have missed it.

The networks might get around to it in maybe........never.

where do you get that? read the first cnn story and see tell me where it says that. it looks like it's another news story about what's happening.

No, I didn't know, but I haven't been reading the Egypt stories. And I'm not sure that not reading something on Too Hot is true indication of whether the media has covered something.

apparently the attacks were Wednesday and Thursday. The stories were posted Thursday and Friday morning.

Churches burned and many fear for their lives. In Pakistan and other countries it’s even worse. Homes burned, people killed; persecutied because of their Christian beliefs.

Meanwhile in the US, many pretend Christians on the far right wing whine and whine how they bought a bunch of cheeseburgers and jumbo cokes the clerk didn’t say Merry Christmas to them and THEY are victims because of this. Our country is growing weak.

Thanks-it does give some perspective, that said the Christians in this country have a right to speak up for their beliefs and they don't need to wait until their buildings are burned or their lives are in danger. Just a little balance.

This has been in the news. period. Don't always believe far right wing outlets when they claim "where is the MSM?" Fox "News" viewers repeatedly test very low in knowledge of current events. Herd thinking. Total biased reporting keeps us ignorant. Again, see River's post. Might be time we all get our news/information from multiple sources.

I'm guessing you couldn't read what Gatordowneast actually wrote either. He provided his defninition of MSM quite clearly but for whatever reason it gets ignored and zero proof brought forth to refute what he claimed.
