yeah, like I said in my earlier post, although I think Kasey has better court vision and has a higher ceiling, you can't really go wrong with either guy. I think Wilbekin's a very solid player, I just don't see the same instincts for running an offense in him that I see in Hill. As others have said, though, I agree that Scottie's a better shooter and defender, and he's a hell of a tough kid. I'm happy we've got them both.

Taurean was an awesome player for us and the perfect guy for that championship squad, but as an individual talent, JWill is still the best PG I've ever seen in a UF uniform. His combination of speed, quickness, vision, ballhandling and deep shooting ability was just unreal.

if TG's mind could somehow have been melded with JWill's talent, though, you'd have a guy that could be talked about up there with the best NBA points of all time.

It drives me INSANE. Guys do it in pickup games too, and when you try to call them on it, they say "Well, Lebron does it." As if that makes cheating OK. I hate it hate it hate it

Williams' game at UK in the '98 season was a thing of beauty, he gets my vote for UF"s best PG of all-time.

Williams, Calathes, and Hill are the best passers Donovan has had. Green was good but not at their level. Not sure why people bag on Calathes so much. His passing is the reason he's in the NBA right now, not his athleticism.

That UK game by JasonWilliams was unreal. I remember reading about him killing everyone in practice for the year he had to sit out. He is still the best point I have seen at UF. TG fit his team better, filled a certain role, but JW was amazing.

Yeah, he was a super talent. I feel a little cheated that we got less than one season from him.

Yeah, but given his history in the pro's he may not have been eligible for that second year...in fact I think I remember rumors that he let his grades plummet during his one year here.

    So back the original topic....

Is Walker going to play any Tuesday? I don't see how it would hurt even if he's really behind since we're so bereft of healthy bodies.

My understanding is that he won't be eligible until the Memphis game.

Stupid school classes. We should cancel finals so that class will be officially over and he can play.

No seems there is no chance he will be eligible by then. Memphis seems to be the date everyone agrees he will play...it's not absolute, but enough sources have said it to make it seem the most likely scenario.

I will be satisfied if he is available by the Memphis game. There was speculation that he may have to sit out a game or so because of some trip to Kansas that there was questions about. Hope those questions go away.
