Charlie should be our coach, and he should have received the job over Muschamp in the first place.
We lost to Ole Miss with Tebow, Harvin, Hernandez, and an amazing defense.
Michigan lost to App. State then beat us in the Capital One Bowl.
USC lost to a lowly Oregon State.
Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State.
Above are all examples of great teams having a bad day and losing to a team they should not lose to, that said, UCF is a good team.
Also, UCF is a good team. Shit happens.
If it means hiring Strong, please keep Muschamp. Strong will be a disaster. Mark my words. Worst candidate in the field. Ugh.
Oh, didn't realize that. Thanks.
Based on what? This looks like UFs worst season since Dickey. Now that's a disaster.
Don't know if Strong would even take the job after getting passed over, but he is certainly not even close to the worst candidate. He does have a BCS game win on his resume, which is something most of the other guys being talked about haven't even sniffed. Recruited his highly rated qb out of miami, etc, etc.
I'm not sure why people think Strong would be any different than Muschamp. This infatuation with former UF players/coaches is silly.
Coach Strong is the best alternative to Coach Muschamp. Briles, Petersen, Kelley, etc are not coming to Florida. Please stop and discuss only reasonable possibilities. The only 2 possibilities I see are Coach Strong and Coach Franklin. With his recruiting ties to Florida Coach Strong is a no brainer. If you read Coach Franklin's coaching bio, I think you will agree Coach Strong's pedigree is much better. He is exactly what we need. Although, I do not think any of us are privy to what his relationship is to Foley and if he would consider coming, maybe if he got mucho millions. I truly hope is he No 1 on Foleys list.
1979 was worse and that was after Dickey
Far worse, but I think that was Pell's "Bear Bryant Junction Boys" rebuilding project.
You need a different pair of glasses.
Neither one is coming here, or deserves to come here. No more coaches hired for recruiting purposes.
