Please come home.
No, please don't... I also don't want SOS either. It's time to hire a proven winner with a high powered offense. One that we have been waiting for... for a long long time.
CS is a defensive minded coach, and SOS is over the hill.
This is not home and I dont want him
Point taken, but he lets the OC run his own show. Good defensive mind with strong recruiting ties and keeps recruiting continuity intact.
Do not want
I agree that this would be ideal, who were you thinking?
Petersen from Boise?
In Christ forever,
How isn't Strong a proven winner? He got to a BCS bowl last year and beat our ass in it.
He'd be good... but everyone, me included, seem to be fixed on Briles from Baylor.
He also lost to UCF with the #1 overall pick under center.

No more defensive minded coaches.
It's time to get the offense we all deserve.
Strong wouldn't be a bad hire but I'd prefer a HC with an offensive background. Our track record with former DCs isnt great (although, to be fair, neither had head coaching experience before UF and CS does).
Briles or Tim DeRuyter are fine with me. Strong is a good choice, but there are better imo.
Oops! Now that's a winner. I still want new blood at florida. I'd take Oregons coach, still, at this point.
Charlie Strong would be stupid to leave Louisville for Florida. He makes $1 million more a year than WM to coach at a basketball school, which means lower expectations.
CS doesn't want us and I doubt that we want him. That ship has sailed.
Peterson plays who, hire the best OC for Head Coach, Sumlin for HC, he will make Grier come alive.
His offense was able to pretty much shred our great D last year in the Sugar Bowl, and lets face it, at least the Cards have managed to put some serious points on the boards at times.
49, 42, 77 points. Lets face it, our offense couldn't put that many up on any of those teams Louisville scored them on, not even close... period.
We have to rely on blocked punts returned for TD's to beat U of Louisiana.
UCF actually has a damn good team this year. They're 6-1 with only a 3 point loss to South Carolina, and I'm reasonably sure they'd take the Gators to the woodshed.
I don't think people aren't taking into account his pipelines in Florida, and how he would literally cherry pick any recruit he wants here in Florida. He will close on the 50/50 recruits come signing day too.
There's your offense right there, your choice of any player here in Florida
We can't get Briles so no need in discussing that (I'm sure most would love it if possible) but why DeRuyter? He's a defensive guy that has one full year of HC experience. He also has the 'Strong benefit' of an experienced O led by a good and experienced QB. I'd rather take Schramm for OC. At least he's done well at different stops.
