How nice for you. Unfortunately for you, you have no idea what you are speaking about in this case (not for the first or last time). Sorry that it is so unbelievable to you. So how many times have you used it, as it is so unbelievable that somebody could live without using it?

I'm not sure why I would need to believe it. You see, as myself, I am always around when I speak and I have a memory. It isn't a matter of belief for me, just simple memory. Again, the simple fact that you can't believe it is an indictment against you, not me, as you have never even heard me speak.

Without a doubt, but I have no opinion regarding your 'cracker' comment.

Brother, I've never used the term cracker outside of describing an item to eat....

I understand your general point here but you've positioned yourself in an impossible corner.

how you gonna prove that someone has used the N-word and you've never even met the guy?

Yup. And so too can you... Just look at some of your posts in this thread alone. Lots of claims... Very little proof.

Uh, outside of responding to your personal accusation of another poster
    (which I kinda did tongue-in-cheek)

...I only made one post on this thread.

    Lots of claims, little proof?

Which claims are not provable besides the last one I made about Paula & Charlie?

I hope for the worlds sake that there is never any responsibility on you, And if someone made me choose if you were telling the truth about saying the N word I would have to go with liar. But, thats just what I get from your answer.

Very telling about our culture and our media.

Not ok for white southern woman to have said nigger word in past. Real bad to have admitted it. OK for blacks to call whites honky, cracker, etc.

Not ok for any white to say anything disparaging about black people's life choices. As in play basketball 5 hr a day/ not learn squat in school or have lots of babies out of wedlock and self impose poverty. Ok to ridicule white people for being greedy since they worked way thru college, started business, then succeeded.

Ok to use f-word in movies, G--damn words, even Jesus Christ name on network tv as a surprise word, but cannot ever use the word Negro.

TV- very ok to be gay. Not ok to be devout Christian. Gay portrayed as heroic. Christian portrayed as abnormal.

Single mom canonized. White male who supports family , works hard, is a true dad, etc is ridiculed.

Ever notice commercials with people and a touch of humor. White adult male is the "stupid" or uninformed one. Black or youth is the "wise" one.

Ever notice court rooms on tv and movies. Most judges are sassy black females. Evil lawyer, crooked corp exec, etc is white middle aged male.

So Fairfax, have you ever used the word also. Or are you the first to cast stones...

I worked side by side with blacks for many years and been called Cracker many times by them, and told them many jokes, and we all laughed together as friends do.

My dad once said he was so poor when he grew up, the first time he heard the word, he thought they were talking about him. A black man and his son's came over and mowed and cleaned up my dad an mom's yard after he died, for his friend, my dad.

So context among friends is something you may not understand.

Ditto....was in the wedding of a close friend yrs back. He's a black guy, mixed group at wedding. We have always made fun of the "other people" who dont get it. We simply see each other as the same race, human race, with different skin tones, and jointly dont get this race thing.

Mel Brooks, Chevy Chase, Paula Dean. Which one is getting blasted for using the same word.
