This is pretty clear at this point. This was this year's UGA game. JD was a turnover machine and was out of his league. Granted, some of that falls on failure of the OLine to give him more time, but when you throw the ball up for grabs and throw it as straight to the orange shirts as you can aim it, there is nothing that a defense nor an OC can do. Yardage wise, we ate their lunch. But the qb is making this a standard practice. We can no longer hide behind the 'no vertical threat'. He MUST make better decisions. Whomever we are recruiting at qb could step in and play this well right now. Fault of this loss is every bit on JD. Who are the other options at qb?
