Idk, I mean this will only be his second visit to AU if he goes. Plus Muschamp encourages his recruits to visit other schools bc of how confident he is that UF is better than everyone else. I think Florida is still in good shape for him.
Let's also keep in mind that this was Cox saying it, and not Ivey himself. We've had guys tell us that they'll "try and make it down" but somehow find a reason not to go. I'm not saying that's what's going to happen here, but he hasn't even visited yet.

...with his close friend and teammate who is an Auburn commit. I am worrying too much, but I feel that Ivey is our most important recruit this cycle, and I don't like the situation with Cox being an AU commit.

I would imagine if Chandler says they visit then they will visit. Ivey virtually lives with Cox.

Maybe Briang8r was on to something...these two look Cook&Lane close.

A lot of smoke about Auburn right now. Time will tell.

I have a bad gut feeling Ivey ends up a Tiger in the end.

I'm hoping that CeCe and Cowart can get him on board with their plan of all playing football together. I know he's better frineds with Cox, but he's gotta look at those guys and see that they're two of top players in the nation, and that's got to excite him a little. I think that if we have a great season, then Ivey (along with many others on the fence) will see that last year was a fluke, and it'll make convincing them to come to Florida a lot easier.

My prediction is that we land CeCe, BCowart, and Ivey. Hopefully I don't have to change my prediction mid-way through the season.

Five-star OT Martez Ivey was on campus Friday at Florida, and he said this visit "stood out the most" after getting to spend time with players and coaches.

Awesome!! I've been waiting to hear some good news out of this guy. I'm glad he enjoyed his time at UF.

Hopefully Ivey sees DJs play as one of the reasons the O is struggling (sorry DJ, but we don't have a good LT) and he could help that, but also sees Rod Johnson's play as evidence of CMS developing young talent.
