Not only this, but the more factors you include to produce similarities like what will occur on Saturday, the fewer the instances of references you have to work with. You'll be at 0 similarities well before all of the meaningful factors will be able to be taken into consideration.

Cute. So if we line up against the Broncos this weekend, we have a 50/50 shot because we will either win or lose?

I will agree that all the history in the world has NO bearing on what will happen once the opening kick is flying downfield. In combat, we say the Operations Plan becomes obsolete once the first round goes down range. After that, battles are often thrown to The Fates.

    Anything can happen.

Of course not, it would be better than 50/50, Peyton Manning has never beaten the FLORIDA GATORS.

I'm still holding out on asking my 2-year old. I usually pick one game a week or so and ask her using the mascots. She's 9-1 this year on games that I've asked her. She picked Stanford over Oregon and USC over Stanford just as two examples. And to daddy's dismay, she picked Vandy and Miami over the Gators. :fuming:

Her only loss this year is that she picked A&M over Bama.

I don't mean to dismiss the notion of stats and projecting results, but they're more applicable for the big picture rather than for any single event.

I expect we'll play our arses off and give them a game. If we play great defense and get a couple of TOs/breaks, we can win.

I think SWAC will easily cover the spread. And I think that they would still beat us, all things being equal, even in the unlikely event that Winston does not play.

I'd prefer Winston plays, I don't want any excuses.

He'll play if he's eligible. If he's not eligible, then FSU fans have much more to worry about than making excuses.

I hear you, but our preferences and SWAC's are not really relevant. If enough evidence emerges justifying an arrest before the game, then he won't play even if the entire Gator Nation demands it.

Of course, I think that is not likely at all. While, like many others, I have growing questions about JW's involvement, I don't think an arrest will occur (if ever) until after DNA results are in ... which may not happen until after the entire season is over.

My bet is that you get what you want, and JW will play. Of course, if the past rhymes with the present, I don't think you'll want what you get. :whoa:

The alleged victim's parents' questions regarding this case:

    • If Winston's attorney was aware of the case in February, why didn't Angulo collect DNA evidence, interview Winston and conduct a proper investigation?

    • Why was Winston not listed as a suspect in the police report once he was identified in early January?

    • Why is it being represented in the media that the victim was intoxicated when Angulo told the family the woman was not intoxicated based on the blood work?

    • Why didn't Angulo or his superiors inform the State Attorney of the alleged crime before the media sought a copy of the police report 11 months after the crime?

These have probably been brought up before, but these were specifically mentioned in the latest ESPN article.

I completely agree. If any team can crush its opposition in TOP it's our 2013 Gators.

We are ranked #2 in the country right now, and I really feel like with solid efforts in our final games we have a chance at winning the TOP National Championship. We're only 2 minutes behind Michigan State right now. Would this be our first ever TOP National Championship?

You know, we make fun of this all the time, but the one thing that may help us pull this game out is to hold onto the rock as long as we can in order to keep their offense off the field.

Of course, it would ALSO help if we can SCORE once we are in the Red Zone...

The TOP joke is kind of stupid considering I don't think I've ever seen anyone say it's the only way we'll win games or anything.

According to this site, we're actually ahead of Michigan State by 15 seconds per game. Florida is #1 in TOP, followed by Georgia Tech (one second back) and then Michigan State at #3.
