I wonder if you've been paying attention.
100%. Eff the clowns
I love this guy. No homo
Going out on a limb, I would say.....0%!!!!!!
I'll be giddy in anticipation, but all too often reality sets in, usually somewhere in the third quarter. 100% at the start, 50% at the half, and then downhill from there.
To win this game, we have to be able to run right at fsu and work the clock and keep fsu's offense off the field as much as possible. I think we can run on them as their defensive front will not be as good as LSU's or USC-e's.
fsu is a speed finesse style team, especially on offense, and slowing them down is imperative. But our offense is going to have to score TD's, not FG's, and I honestly believe we need to score first in this game and not be forced to play from behind, and answer their scores.
We also need to play very good special teams and win the field position battle, as that will allow us to dictate their play-calling. I like our secondary v.s. their WR's and our DL against their OL, problem is, fsu is a team that's focused, confident, and rolling, and UF is a team with a very damaged psyche. A couple of bad breaks for us in this game would start the avalanche.
If they score a TD first on us too, we'll never recover from it IMO.
Gray, good analysis of everything but psyche. Our motivation for this game is inherent, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and we have not quit all year long. FSU OTOH has to feel the pressure, and they have not been in this championship position in quite some time. They have a good team, but the intangibles are in our corner.
I love all your optimism. But I have seen nothing in 10 games to indicate that we can beat a good team. I know that fsu hasn't played more than one good team but the muses are against us this year. j
Let me get this right, the chances are excellent Skyler is going to beat Air Jam. Let me think about this....ok I am done. Please limit your betting money on this say $1 dollar or less type thing.
This is the area I am on the limb. If Skyler is allowed to pass and gets 100 yards it will be a miracle.
oops. Whatever, injuries are sort of blending together for me:alien:
Then don't waste your day watching and save everyone here the whining:yes:
I wish I could watch. I'm traveling that day:angry:
So you're sayin there's a chance!
40% chance UF wins.
Muschamp uses TOP and the ground game to control the clock and keep the ball away from JW and FSU and/or JW gets suspended. Either way UF's chances are far higher than most here realize.
It is a rivalry game. UF tanked it on the road against teams they didn't care about. They will care about this game. I am worried. I am scared. I've been scared since before JW got caught up in this legal mess. I am not blind, FSU has a better team this year, but if UF plays hard, like they did against USCe, you can see they are still good.
The last time these two teams played, UF won, a fact that Nole fans on Nole boards seem oblivious too. I don't like the over confidence, distractions, wounded, desperate feel of this game from UF's side. It sucks. I hope I am wrong but I hav ebeen saying for weeks it will be a war.
Little Big Horn was a battle too.
I'm calling it now....Florida WILL BEAT fsu!!!
God, if I had a dime for every time someone said that prior to a loss, I could retire now...
30%. FSU has struggled against WM's defense both times they went against it. WM's D usually does well against Super QB led offenses (see 2007 Auburn-Florida and 2012 Florida-Texas A&M).
Also while FSU is clearly world's better than UF they are not as good as they appear. Their schedule is terrible and I am skeptical on their defense.
FSU is gonna beat the crap out of us. Luckily for us Muschamp and Jimbo are BFFs, so Jimbo might take it easy on us.
Winston will be out of the game by halftime.
Wow, it just dawned on me that our coach is a bulldog who is BFF with the FSU HC.
While this is silly and I know it really doesn't matter, it still feels a little dirty...
