I call it. Florida wins.
Then it's settled. Glad CFN saved me from having to watch the game. I will empty my bank account tomorrow now that CFN "called it" and drown my sorrows by making money off CFN and their calling the game.
I actually completely agree.
If I were a mod BB would have been gone three days ago.
Why? What has he done?
Well, I guess it's a good thing you aren't a mod.
BayouBengal is okay... Just pimping his team.
As far as CFN prediction is concerned, it would be very surprsing to see us get only 17 points against LSU... unless we have another turn over melt down.
there are a couple people on here that i would rather see gone before BB.
This. Wait, were you referring to me......
I'm thinking 27-23 Gators. Our defense is good but not invincible.
Gators win. Although Mettennberger has improved, UF's secondary takes 3 away ad D rules the day.
Gator fans better hope it doesn't come down to Field Goals...
"Florida hasn’t been that bad in Death Valley, winning four of the last seven games on the road going back to 1997."
Repeat that a few times. In 7 games on the road against LSU, we are above .500. Who else can say that? Before '97 we also had a few more wins there. Yeah they beat us in '07, but it took 5 4th down conversions to do it. We got beat in '11 because we were terrible and had a freshman QB. And in '05 it was Urban's 1st year and he needed some time to adjust. We've already had a fake fg run against us this year, it's not happening again. There is nothing the Hat can throw at this defense/special teams that it won't sniff out and stop cold. And "Death Valley" may apply to other teams, but it clearly is not a deterrent for good Gator teams to come out with a win. 4-3 in last 7. 11-5 since the '80s.
My personal opinion: our defense is the best in the country from rushing the passer to stopping the run to covering receivers. They are a good offense, but not the best, they will have ~2-3 scoring drives. On the other side of the ball, they are severely lacking. We are deficient in the passing game, but our run game has and will be there.
We win. nationwide respect. See you in ATL.
Remember we haven't allowed any SEC team 20 points or more in two seasons and that includes LSU last year.
This game feels pretty epic, and yet we're not even in the top ten. Lol
