My favorite is that this player

    X1: PPG: 10.0, A/T: 2.4 offensive rating: 106.6, effective shooting: 46.1%

is their 8th best player in the country, while this player did not make the list:

    X2: PPG: 9.1 A/T: 2.4 offensive rating: 121.1, effective shooting: 52.5%

And of course both are well known as defensive players.

Here is a link to a complete statistical comparison:

I posted this on a UK board and even pointed out the UF oversights. I'm surprised by it. I have never been a huge fan of Jeff Goodman, but he was helpful to the CBS crew when it came to lists like this.

Believe it or not, most of the CBS guys are NOT Kentucky guys and are most definitely not fans of Calipari. They could be pushing UK because they want hits (although some of them have commented that they end up with more hits by "disrespecting" UK), or they could just be buying into the hype. I would defend some of the UK player rankings, but I am not convinced some of the players would be ranked if they'd landed on some no-name team.

I think Young, Wilbekin, DFS and Hill should be on the list. The ONLY question I'd have with any of these three would be wanting to wait and see how Hill's PT and role works out. But you don't see the CBS guys waiting to see that kind of stuff with freshmen, so I say include him.

Ah, I don't see it as too big of a deal. Young probably belongs on the list, but UK has serious individual talent.

When Kansas, Memphis, and Kentucky come calling, they can spend their time wondering how a team with zero players as good as their top 3-7 guys are even able to score a point on them.
