Like it or not, it's worked very, very well for Fox/Murdoch. And the blame for that goes to the lazy and arrogant networks who ignored the fact that at least 1/2 the country was conservative and failed to address their needs. Murdoch saw a huge opening and took full advantage.

I used this on another thread, but I think it's just as applicable here.

So get over it. You've got MSNBC (whose motto seems to be "Even More Over The Top Than FOX"). Not Fox's fault that their numbers pale in comparison.

It is the old model, because they havent figured out any way of accounting for DVRs, and online/mobile viewing yet. None of those "count" as far as ratings and ad rates. Which is why 18-40 demo is so valuable (and also somewhat elusive).

I'm sure they've moved a lot of Depends diapers and VHS players.

(beating head against wall) Why did I even try here?

Won't make that mistake again. Man, you are such a waste of time. Like conversing with a 2 year old.

For two weeks? Fred, they knew the day it happened that it was not a "spontaneous" event. It did not fit the narrative that "We killed Bin Laden and the terrorists are no longer a threat". And we were in the middle of a heated, contentious election."

Obama lied about healthcare to get it passed. He lied about Benghazi to get reelected. PERIOD.
