Not really a Too Hot thread but my "buddies" are here.

    All CSI's
    Blue Bloods
    Elementary
    Good Wife
    NCIS
    Survivor
    Amazing Race
    Person of Interest
    Criminal Minds

Seems all my favorites are CBS.

    How about you?

I kinda hate CSI, to be honest. There's realism, there's unrealism, there's unrealistic even for TV, and then there's that. NCIS is entertaining as hell, though. The world could use more Gibbs. I'd vote for Gibbs for President.

My shows are scattered all over the dial. Sleepy Hollow, Grimm, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Vampire Diaries, Castle.

But to be honest, I could probably get buy on a cable package that included nothing but TNT and USA.

Watching shows about vampires and zombies and speaking of realism on tv shows?

Yeah. There's... not actually a contradiction there. Shows about vampires and zombies... are about vampires and zombies. Maybe they are unrealistic, I don't know, I've never observed any real vampires or zombies to compare them to. But shows about the criminal justice system that don't even pretend to capture a sense of the thing bother me. One of my favorite "Law & Order" moments -- a show that looks like a bloody documentary next to the CSI family -- was Jerry Orbach's Briscoe taking a CSA-era shot at one of their CSU techs speculating on the case and him quipping "Those crime scene guys are highly overrated. The problem is, they all think they're cops." :) It's a perfect example of Take That.

Lol. Personally, I like the sitcom that comes on at 6:30 PM ET every weeknight on CBS (I don't recall the name). I mean, what world are THOSE people living in?

I watch all your shows and like them with the exception of: Elementary, Good Wife, Survivor, and Amazing Race.
I love James Spader in NBC's The Blacklist, and Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in HBO's True Detective. It does seem that CBS has the majority of shows I also like..

Thanks for the other recommendations. Of the ones you haven't watched check out Good Wife. It really is an amazing show.

Point of the thread was how many of the shows I like are CBS. Bonus is SEC football.:)

Edit: Misread your post. Good Wife & Elementary take a few episodes to be "comfortable". I find that on shows with lots of references to previous episodes (relational character development) makes it harder to pick up. Both of these shows are heavy on unique relationships between characters.

No crazier than watching shows about cops who solve every murder and never bust anyone for simple marijuana possession, all the time following the book and not abusing their power.
