Fox doesn't do retractions on all their fake stories.
It doesn't fit the narrative.
Agree. Let's get their testimony and be done with it. Seems like the quickest way to resolution on an issue the American people need to know the FULL truth about.
Simon & Schuster has pulled Davies book from the shelves. Hard to imagine no one did any homework on this guy.
When they are telling you what you already know to be true, you don't have to do any fact checking.
The Right's reaction to Benghazi continually reminds me of how I'm thankful 9/11 didn't happen under a Dems watch and specifically Obama
Oh, you and me both. Would really enjoy the "what difference at this point does it make?" tantrum.
Most of them choose to blame it on Clinton anyway.
I would have been afraid for Obama's life
it is bizarre to compare the two reactions. 3,000 people killed vs. 4.
bizarre to say the least
4 people unfortunately die in a hot spot, and we hear serious calls for impeachment, dereliction of duty, etc
Obama Derangement Syndrome
In fairness, there weren't entire countries and the Red Cross evacuating Manhattan for months in advance as a warning, as there were in Benghazi.
Kind of like the conservatives interest in this thread.
...and most of y'all like to blame everydamnthing ever, on Bush.
Yea. "What difference does it make?" Hillary Clinton. "Now, trust me when I run to be your president."
We have one sorry assed liar as President now, who has botched everything he's touched. Don't think we need another. Get to the truth. Put the survivors before Congress and let them tell their story and be done with it.
You wonder how much of Fox's reporting on Benghazi came straight from Davies. They didn't name him, but apparently an awful lot of their reports which they claimed contradicted official reports were based on an anonymous source with Blue Mountain Security where Davies happened to work.
Fox doesn't need any stinkin' reliable sources.
This, coming from the network who coined the phrase, "Fake but accurate..."
It seems that this story is much like the ANG story they ran which turned out to be face. The difference here is, obviously, CBS has no interest in investigating the real story, opting instead for claiming the entire story is untrue because of this one error.
Dave, weren't you the one saying that Davies was being smeared? What do you say now that his story turned out to be completely false?
He is being smeared... He explained the discrepancies. Obviously, CBS, considering their agenda, has no interest in giving him the same latitude as they gave those involved with the Bush ANG story. Fake, but accurate, right.
No... There's no double standard here...
