Named us his leader yesterday. I didn't know we were in on this kid before this. I think we'll see more new names pop up now that the coaches are out on the road doing evaluations.

He was planning on visiting the weekend of the 19th but wasn't able to make it. The coaches must really like him or see something in him to be jumping on him this early. He's not really the stereotypical tall CB that we see CWM like to take so there must be something special they like but then again Jalen Julius isn't that mold either. Also sounds like UF is the first school to be recruiting him hard too.

Sounds like he didn't like what he heard on his visit. I wonder how much of a priority he was for the coaches.

Don't like to assume, but this really looks like a case in which we told him we aren't ready to accept his commitment. Might have to do with 1 or 2 offers we gave out at camp that pushed people passed him on our board.

We've done very well recruiting CBs lately and have a good start for this year. No reason taking a commit this early from any CB unless he was an elite talent and an ideal fit for our system.

I honestly don't know what "ideal fir for our system" is any more. Don't remember another era in UF football when CBs were tall and safeties were short.

The parting of ways was not really his choice. He was not impressive when he camped and we're no longer interested,

McDuffie took his spot. He'll probably cap it off at DB this class. He's smart, based of the schools his offer list and he runs track. Has speed to burn, sort of like a adoree jackson lite. Fast little guy

I like mcduffie but he definitely needs to start packing on some pounds if he wants to play in his first two years of college
