Anyone know what the attendance was of FAU @ UM game Friday night?
About the same as it was in the swamp yesterday... Pathetic.
2nd qtr photo.
We had 83K for a noon game in August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
According to ESPN, Miami's attendance was 50,151.
UF's was 83,604.
But math is hard, bro.
No way. I am happy with the 83k we had. Yesterday was brutal on the younger crowd much less the senior gators on alum side who have been coming for 30-40 years. I saw on tv the Miami crowd and that would be defined more as pathetic. Just wanting to know the numbers if anyone had them?
Perhaps I should have started a new thread because this is important for any Gators going down to Miami.
memo to gator fans....Miami fans don't care about attendance. never have. never will. If you really want to get under the skin of Miami fans, then chirp about not winning games. Just though I'd share.
I watched a few minutes of their game (1st or second quarter..don't remember) against FAU and it did not look like there were 50+ thousand people in the stands to me.
Dumb question, can you drink during scUM games?
That was the only part of the stadium that was full. Take off the O&B glasses, there were easily 20k empty seats. I was there.
Never have, never will? Really?? V
Sure you can drink during Cane games. I plan to have some Manhattans and a fine selection of brew on hand. In fact, I'm pretty sure you can drink during any game.
The entire upper corner of the SE stands was vacant and the upper Sunshine seat were sparse.
As a 20 year season ticket holder it was sad to see.
Nice. I guess I should ask if alcohol will be sold.
Makes them so angry!
I posted a photo, and I posted the announced attendance. Pretty much a neutral color filter to me.
I was there too, it's my photo.
Then you should have turned around because the "visiting team" section was almost empty.
83500 is not too bad for a nooner against Toledo in this era. Next week will be better.
You're the one who said "we had 83k for a noon game in August". This statement implies you are referring to actual attendance and not paid attendance. And if you were there (and either looked in the end zones or even turned around and looked at the section you were sitting in) you would know that we didn't have 83k for a noon game in august, but rather more like 70k.
With all that said, it was better than scUM.
