What should be done eventually must be done immediately. - Jeremy Foley
The fanbase supports the program. If we're not allowed to be fans here I suppose we'll just support another program.
This is for sure.
Some here might need another year to decide if Muschamp is the man.
I can tell you I have seen enough to know how the story ends.
Just watch Auburn who had like 6 freshman playing and tell me it will take at least 4 years.
Maybe so but if you have the right coach it wont
Hear hear! You're too damned logical, Dream.
how can auburn be this good in malzhan's first year? he didn't inherit great talent and he installed a new system----their offense is rolling up and down the field.
They had talent, and his offense is good.
All of above excuses are Muschamp's fault. Muschamp is guilty of being inflexible in his game plans. He also has major gaps in recruiting resulting in poor numbers and quality at key positions including OL, QB, LB, TE and WR. Failing to plan is planning to fail.
Gators have not had a losing season since 1979. Right now 5-7 is staring this team in the eyes. 5-7 = gone. 6-6 = gone. 7-5 may save him.
Foley is struggling to keep season ticket holders. Making a change creates new energy and momentum. Muschamp gets millions and lands at an Illinois.
I wanted him to succeed, but the program is more important. He needs to go.
They do not have great talent but they will from now on. Look out for Auburn as Florida becomes Vandy.
I do agree that we give Muschamp until 2014 season and that offensive coaching heads need to roll.
This has to be Pease's last year... please GOD..
Please serve up Tim Davis on a platter. The source of the offensive ineptness is the o- line. Open running holes and pass block, and the offense improves.
Better "talent" than florida? I thought fla has all these highly ranked recruiting classes.
-what he said!!!!!!! +1
We haven't played them.
Yesterday the bulldogs all-american caliber quarterback threw for 148 yds. He has lost all his playmakers at wide receiver. Imagine how his back-up would have done. Will has only had 2 full recruiting classes so to totally blame him for some talent gaps at certain positions just isn't fair. Is he the coach for the Gators long term? I don't know, but we have to be reasonable about where we are at.
All of these injuries stink and are making life terrible for us, but it will get better. This season is a wash, but that's the game and you gotta live with it. Things will improve. We've lost too much this year to injury.
And it is not like Mizzou is a bad team. No one has beat them yet this year.
