Sure they can. Doubt they will, but they have the talent and experience to do it.

I know. Just playing around. Even if they do it, which I doubt they will, we will still have been the first to do so! Then they would have to win the SEC Tourney too.

Exactly as of today UAL, UAR, AU, UF, UGa, UK, LSU, UMs, UMo, MSU, SoCar, UTn, aTm, and Vandy all could go undefeated through the SEC season. None of them have a loss yet. The chance that any one team will is about the same for each team and it is not very high.

Well, technically UK has finished the SEC undefeated multiple times already (four times, I think?), but I think that there is a good chance that UK will be an underdog at Florida this year. UF will likely be an underdog at Kentucky as well.

I sure hope not. I want some bumps along the way.

I think it's highly unlikely, but I would have said the same about the Gators going into last year. We ended up playing at a higher level than expected and very consistently (which is key for winning them all as we showed in 2007). We also benefitted from a UK team that badly underachieved in the regular season.

For UK to run the table, they are going to have to show they can bring it consistently and play with the chemistry necessary to grind out the tough games. They also have to hope that we take a big step back and don't provide a challenge. There is no reason to think UK will be head and shoulders above us. Indeed, it would not be any more outrageous to ask if Florida could run the table. We are the two-time defending conference champs, have great talent and depth at every position, an elite coach, and are riding a 21-game conference winning streak.

I think they will go 40-0 this year.

Of course, I think that every year about the Gators, Vanderbilt, Connecticut, Duke, Kansas, Michigan State, etc., etc..

Heck it looks pretty clear to me. I like my team to lose and I think it's imperative to lose to win a championship. It was obviously an iPad mistake, but thanks it feels like we are already in season with the way some speak to others.

I've posted here for 5 plus years. When have I ever posted anything like that? Geesh, I deserve a little credit here.

Jeff always offers reasonable observations. As a Gator fan living in Louisville Ky, I can tell you all, most of their BB fans are expecting fewer then 3 losses.

Jeff is a gentleman poster...and a pretty cool Cat.
That's neither his style nor the way he was raised.
A virtual 'ass beating' is about as rough as he gets.

I don't think they badly underachieved. We were simply better and I believe if we had played for the championship we would have beaten them again.

We will not go undefeated in the SEC...we will lose a few games..it is iterative to our success to get hit in the mouth!
