His gut feelings are worth nothing, so don't waste your time.
yes we extended an offer to Williams.
Unfortunately I'm not on those. I have been reading recruiting stories at the three major recruiting sites. Glad to hear you feel like his social media postings paint a different picture. I hope we get them all.
Good to hear
I don't share your perpetual negative outlook on Gator recruiting, but we're going to duke it out with other schools for Cook. As far as I'm concerned we're nothing more than the leader for that kid. I think Lane ends up in this class, though. Of course, that could change quickly too.
I liked what Kelvin Taylor brought to this offense the other night. He was faster than I thought he would be, and I think he's going to be a monster once he fills out. Even if Cook doesn't sign, we aren't destitute by any means at the position. Taylor is a better back than some on this board think he is.
True and even though I would prefer to keep Cook on board, I think everyone is forgetting about somebody..... Adam Lane! Dudes a beast, reminds me of MJD or ray rice.
Agree on Lane. Cook gives you another piece of the puzzle though. We could really use his vision, quick cuts, burst and top end speed. I hate laying "the next Percy" moniker on guys, but he's the closest I've seen since Percy.
We offered Darrel Williams of Marrero, LA and he is visiting for the FSU game, per his high school coach.

I've been saying the same thing for awhile now. Dude is just electric when he gets the ball in his hands. Imagine if he wasn't sharing carr0ies with another 5* in joseph yearby. That's why i believe Miami will not be a factor in his recruitment, can't see him wanting to share the spotlight with the same guy for 7-8 years, can't see him following yearby to miami. And I think he is trolling with fsu.
I feel like I read something a while ago saying that Joe Mixon was high on FSU. If this is the case, and he commits to them, you guys think that helps us keep Cook?
No cook isn't waivering anyway and if he goes to FSU that is not good for us at all
Mixon wont go to fsu
I hope not
Possibly, although I think Mixon ends up at UCLA or oklahoma. FWIW, I think we keep him regardless. Who/when was the last time fsu put a rb/hybrid type in the league. I mean I can see the allure for qb (ponder, manuel, and now winston) but I can't remember the last rb. Florida's run heavy offense is very appealing to a stud rb like Cook. He sees gilly broke off 1200 yards last year, he's probably thinking he can best that.
And these visits by our commits are encouraged by our coach. He tells them to take advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity. Of course that doesn't mean they can't be swayed but keep t-rob in his ear and have muschamp give one last pep talk and he stays IMO.
Exactly warrick dunn was the last FSU rb to reach 1000 yards that tells you all you need to know
DAMN that's why I couldn't remember. Dunn has already retired, that's a long time.
Someone posted on TOS that Cook is looking at Miami pretty close. Anyone hear that?
ESPN lists UF as having 3 RB currently in the NFL. lists FSU with three also with Chris Thompson going in last yr. Also FSU has 2 fullbacks in the NFL now with Lonnie Pryor the latest.
Florida five-star RB commit Dalvin Cook said he's 80 percent committed to the Gators, and Florida State and Miami are quickly closing in. In-depth details inside.
I think he's trolling. I don't see cook sharing carries with yearby for another 4 years on top of the 4 he just spent sharing the spotlight with him in highschool
