Oh, and he tore his knee up 3 times I believe, let's call for a congressional inquiry.
I had high hopes for Cornelius Ingram very athletic, good ball skills, that darn injury bug just gets the best of some players careers.
yup, guy was a freak
It will be dependent upon who we have as OC next year, new HBC or not.
A true drop-back passer and a great WR will be a little put off by the way run our offense after it completely imploded this year.
No they won't, stop being so negative
It goes both ways, man. Florida lost prospects under Meyer (Burt Reed, Greg Reid, Nu'Keese Richardson, Nick Kasa, and on and on) because of the talent and depth he had brought in across the board. Some reportedly were scared to compete. As a result, the '08 and '09 classes fell short in providing adequate depth for years to come. It's hard to believe that three of the last four years of football for the Gators have been pretty mediocre, but that's what we've been dealing with. Those two classes have had a lot to do with that.
Some kids see an inept offense; others see an opportunity. Florida is going to get great athletes, especially with Muschamp running the show. We don't need a statue in the pocket to win big in the SEC. Our most successful football was played under the leadership of a QB who was more effective running the ball than any player I've ever seen in a Gator uniform. Grier is an exciting talent we're bringing in. Also, Florida has had no problem recruiting solid receivers the last couple of years.
I still don't think Pease has been given a fair opportunity. We're 21 games into his career as Florida's OC, and the man had a mediocre group of talent last year (that I thought he did a great job of adjusting what he wanted to do with), and we've been decimated by injuries this season. This stuff takes time.
. Right on the money
"Reed eas playing QB for Meyer, Gilly wasn't playing at all, it was Muschamp who switched Reed and got Gilly to the NFL..."
Quote please? I said champ is who made him a FULLTIME TE. Is that not correct give up dude this conversation is old and you don't have quotes to back up your twisting of quotes, I am flattered though that you try to hold on to my every word albeit incorrectly.
So what's the latest on Cook?
Despite a lot of rumors and grumblings, Cook appears to be solid. He will be on campus for the FSU game and that will probably clear things up a bit. However, we did just offer ASU commit Darrel Williams, This could either mean they aren't as confident in cook as they would like, or they aren't confident in the momentum we have with Scarborough, and are looking for a power back to couple with DC.
Hope it works out, think we need two this class.
Gut feeling is Cook and Lane are not coming to UF. Grier and Wilson are as solid as you can get. Grier's gf attends Santa Fe right?
If you have twitter or instagram, go follow Ermon Lane, he will change your mind.
I hope we offered D Williams(RB) because they want two in this class and believe they have a good shot with DW. Would hate to see us wiff at RB because we need a couple if they can fit into the class.
Ya after hearing about these commits wavering I took a look at Lane's twitter. Guy looks to be 100% Gator at this point.
According to Zach A. they always wanted 2 RB's and it has nothing to do with Cook. They've been after Scarborough this whole time too, and I heard they have also kept in contact with Tony James (I think that's his name the kid from GHS)
Looks like the staff just wants to bring in two RB's. Hopefully the add a between the tackles guy to fit with Cook's skillset.
At this point im fairly confident lane sticks. Imo, since cooks going to the game, i think the outcome could heavily impact his decision. If we get blown out, he probably wont be in this class.
I believe both stick. A lot of the rumors on cook have heated up because of that fake twitter account @dalvin_cook has become pro nole lately and some recruit analyst seen the account and ran with it. He hasn't publicly stated anything but 100% gator and was encouraged by champ to take advantage of all his officials b/c it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. I believe his bond with the other recruits will keep him. Grier said he exchanged text with cook and has a good vibe.
Quincy Wilson said in an interview that he has no doubts that they stick and that the guys we have now will all be there in the end he will keep this class together
