Yes dear. Where will you be when we go 7-5?
So what we're saying here is if we didn't do that thing that we usually do, we're good.
The phrase "we are who we thought they were" comes to mind.
This offense is what it does, not what it could or should do.
Forgive us if we haven't given up on a good season because of one turnover riddled game.
In game two
So they get no credit for the deep balls Jeff completed? They get no credit for moving the ball at will all day?
Sorry, if you wanna harp on the bad you gotta give them credit for the good. Incompetent coaches don't produce offenses that do what we did today and continuing to insist otherwise doesn't reflect well on your grasp of the subject.
lol I guess that's the simple minded version
They get credit for winning the Time of Possession battle and nothing else. That's their goal. that's their strategy. And it sucks rocks when one other facet of the game fails to execute.
and every other offensive category. The only advantage Miami had was the big one, turnovers.
Oh Squeee! They won on a spreadsheet. Yay. Let's frame that spreadsheet and point to it as a win.
THIS is exactly why people have been harping on this inept offense most of last season and all of this short one. IT. SUCKS. ROCKS.
Its not capable of overcoming mistakes whatsoever. We lost today because of offensive turnovers. We will lose to UGA/LSU/FSU when our D is unable to stop their O from scoring more than 17 points.
Or when our ST muffs a punt. Or when our FG kicker shanks one from 35 yards with 3 seconds left.
Didn't make many mistakes last year, thus the record. and through two games I am inclined to believe the offense is going to be better this season. Just have to keep away from the turnovers. Easier said than done I know, but turnovers were THE reason we lost today
New policy: don't pass the 20. All scoring is to be done from outside the red zone. 20+ yard TD passes, 20+ yard runs.
Uhhh...check your history.
