So I was watching The Opening last night, and they interviewed Byron Cowart on there for a very short time, and just asked him about his recruiting and when he was looking to make a decision.

Now I don't remember his exact answer, and he didn't give a clue as to when he was going to commit, but I think he said something along the lines of, "I know in my head where I'm gonna go, I'm just enjoying the recruiting process right now."

Did anybody else see the interview and catch that part? I know some people are giving other schools like Oregon a chance, and I even saw where some guy on bleacher report said that he was confident Cowart would go to the Ducks over us, but without him even taking a visit to Oregon (except for The Opening), this makes me feel pretty good about where we stand with Cowart if I did indeed hear what I thought I heard.

I watched the interview too. He did say he he already knows where he is going in his head.
And I think he said he was making a decision in December. I will try to find the interview.

If him and CeCe are really serious about playing together. Then he is going to be a Gator. I find it hard to believe that in his head he already knows he is going to Oregon when he has not even visited the school.

Yeah that's how I feel about it as well. CeCe has all but confirmed that he's going to commit to us, so with what Cowart said last night I don't see him going anywhere but UF as of right now.

Would be an awesome get to land either one.. Getting both would be just down right nasty for our defense.

I agree that if Muschamp makes it through the season him and CeCe are Gators. It would be like us grabbing Fowler and Bullard in the same cycle all over again.

You know, if he assembles a strong enough class, he may not have to have as good a record this year as I had thought to be kept around. I'm liking what he's assembling, if they all pan out.

He's assembled very little so far, but the fence sitters leaning in our direction would give us an amazing class. I think Muschamp and has assistants are doing a great job selling the program, but giving these kids the room to take their time while other coaches are leaning on kids for early commitments. That can and will backfire and seems to more and more each year. The one trend that seems to be taking hold now is that the longer a highly ranked player takes to make up his mind, the less likely he is to change it.

Get ready for a nerve wracking recruiting year.

Well, I'm sure we can all agree on this:
This year is more so than any other a make it or break it type of year on the field. It seems as though there are multiple stud recruits (Cowart, Jefferson, Ivey, Campbell, etc.) that are just waiting to make sure that they are committing to the same Florida Gators as in the Glory Days.
If we do well on the field this year, the previously mentioned four stud recruits are ours, however.........if we don't. It's all up in the air.
I mean think about it, there is a reason all these kids that are favoring Florida are waiting until around NSD to commit. They want to make sure, as would any of us.

@ByronHawkStar99: Sometimes you have to do what's best for you so no more package deal

He said this right after his FSU visit and has said FSU is one of his top choices. Sounds like he's going to go where ever he wants to go regardless of where Cece goes.

    Then shortly after Cece posts:
@cecejeferson7: No more package deal, the picture bigger.

George brown may have something to say about that:) Zach abolverdi says cowart has said he wants to play with George brown. So something tells me they are playing the game.

How cool would it be if they got fsu fans hopes up just to dis them Like dalvin did us.

While the retribution would feel good for a minute, I'd prefer our guys conduct themselves with class.

Cook was a classless, infantile troll last year. I wouldn't even want somebody like that on the team.

Nearly every team has a troll. Remember Dante Fowler during his recruitment? Marcus Roberson?

I figured as much that's why I put down the liquor bottle. Figured it's to early to start drinking away my problem.

On a side note, I wish I new the reasoning for putting a "dislike" in between a "like" and "agree" button only to sandwich a "disagree" between that and a "funny". It's as if they're testing us on our sobriety...... These fingers...or this stupid smartphone has issues sometimes. I've hit a negative by accident like 4 times in a row. Only to keep trying to fix it repeatedly hitting a stupid negative rating. :)
