Looks like everyone is saying Clemson vs. Ohio State in the Orange.

Bama vs. Oklahoma or Oregon in the Sugar.

it bumps OSU to one of 3 BCS bowls because you can have Two teams from a conference represent. Just like AU in the NC and UA in the Sugar.

If anything Ok or Oregon would be on the bubble to getting a BCS bowl bid. As much as we think they are frauds, they travel well and only lost one game. They will still be ranked in the top ten.

Wow that Fiesta Bowl sounds like it will be very poorly attended/rated. Still happy for the UCF Knights, though!

Yeah ... I forgot about the Rose, so that does make room for OSU.

Man, BCS is missing the boat.

Bama / OSU would give them, in effect, a 2nd national title-type hyped game.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It may have gotten better ratings than the BCS Title game.

Urban would need a Zantac IV drip for the next month if they got paired up with Bama. He dodged a real bullet. Bama would have exposed that fraud on a national stage....again

They have zero top 25 wins. The only top 25 teams they played, they got handled. Their best win was a 3 point win at home against UGA. After that, a bunch of wins against teams 7-5 or worse.

IMO, not a resumé deserving of a BCS bid.

At least Oregon, OU and OSU have wins against top 25 teams. Bama's lone loss was a missed FG returned for a TD in the last second of the game. (these being the other at large).

How much will Clemson get killed by this time in the OB? Another game they won't show up for.

You lose the chance at the title game and the Rose Bowl in one loss. So this it like the third best option for them.

But I hope OSU doesn't come to Florida where Urban can recruit while prepping for the bowl. Urban can still recruit with the best, so send him to the Fiesta...please.

That's what happens when you have the last pick this year.
