Almost doubled his salary from his previous contract, from $8 million for 3 years to $15 million for 3 years. Congrats Corey.

Nice, although I half expected someone to overpay him.

Where's the Gator love in that statement?

    He's getting what he's worth.

Still my favorite Gator. Great back story, class act, much liked by his teammates and best smile ever! Great to see him do well.

Corey is very excited. He and Kevin Martin are friends and will play well off of each other. The most important difference this time around for Corey is he has learned for the most part who he is as a player. His first stint in Minny he was a lottery pick who was expected to be a primary scorer. That's a role he would never flourish in. Corey is somebody whose value comes in his energy and his ability to fill lanes and create havoc. He also has an unbelievable Bball IQ and is very good with post entries. Corey only gets himself in trouble when he gets overconfident and starts having bad shot selection. I think he is going into this with realistic expectations from him and the team and I expect that to make a ton of difference.

I about freaked out when he went down in the championship game (I think it was that game) and it looked for just a minute like he had blown out a knee.

Of all the 04's, he made the biggest sacrifice coming back. It would have been horrible if he ended up with no pro career.

So glad to see him getting his.

Minnesota went after him hard, that is a good sign. I would love to see them do well with Corey playing a big role. He was a fan favorite there.

Not a slight. Just expected him to get more. Teams are being unusually frugal this year. Well, except for the Bobcats.

They are being frugal because everyone knows 2014 is the year to spend the money.

Good for him, unfortunately being in Minn most of us will never see him play.

They will get a few more national games this year with a healthy Rubio and Love. I think they will be an attractive match up for TV against the big names in the West.

Gotta like the Wolves for a playoff spot this year. Go Corey!

I'm so happy that Cory got a good payday. He's an extremely good guy that worked hard and was moved around quite a bit in the NBA but now has done well for himself.

Since I mostly watch the Magic, although a lot less this past year, I don't see much of all our Gators in the NBA but wish them all the very best.

I was amazed at how well Brewer was playing offensively in a couple of games I caught on tv last season. He was scoring at will (like Kobe on a hot streak or something) in one game I saw. He's really come far on that side of the ball.

Happy to see Corey improve his game so much, but I'm gonna be honest --

Brewer really benefited from playing in George Karl's uptempo offense and being surrounded by other very good players. It was a perfect spot and role for him being a spark off the bench. I'm not sure he can continue the same success on a terrible team and in a different role.

The wolves do play up tempo with Rubio and will contend for a playoff spot. A terrible team won't contend for a spot in the west. Barring health of course

And none of that was returning to Denver. Besides it wasn't like Denver had a bunch of superstars. The wolves have a solid roster for next season. Love, Rubio, and Martin can play and Brewer should fit in nicely.
