Haha.. Arginine is great.. I used to take a pre workout but not anymore. The ones with creating messed me up. I need to just buy arginine to get the pump.
In America, cheaters win. Why should sports be any different?
You don't have to be a scientist to read the studies, or at least the abstracts, which are often Cliff's Notes.

I'm only "stuck" on them because people are supplementing with them. You can get complete protein, meaning all amino acids, in a much greater quantity through normal food.
So there are recorded conversations, the guy who put Ray on the "treatment" program is selling him out, the owner of the company is the source of the story. Anyone smell entrapment? I was referring to OBOB in my comment. But I eat healthy and supplement my food with good pharmaceutical quality American made amino acids, and in twenty years time the rest of the general public will catch on to it's (aminos) benefit to their overall well being and health.
There is more to amino acids then big muscles. Do you understand this?
I use Arginine Pyroglutomate. It's passed through the intestine with less loss and degradation than plain L-Arginine.
How often, when, how much, why? I would think before, during and after workouts.
How are these different than free form aminos that act as immediately available food?

I don't need food or supplements. I can go for months without eating, surviving on the dew of a single ginko leaf and the energy of the universe.
They're good to take before, during and after a workout.
My point is that amino acid supplementation - whether for essentials or non-essentials or BCAAs, is unnecessarily expensive compared to the alternative.
Energy, oxygen to your blood for longer, harder workouts.
