He wants his team to remain #1 and JW to win the Heisman. You would think he would admit disappointment. What decent person would not at least be disappointed and feel sorry for the girl?

With her having been documented by TPD as exhibiting all of the symptoms of having been under the influence of a date rape drug it would seem they would have the intelligence to have tested for it properly if they had wanted to find it.

The victims lawyers should request information for the last zen or so rape cases from TPD to determine if this is their Standard Operating Procedure. If not - then release the Krakken - this shit is on.

Again if she says no, it's rape. If she was drugged she could not give consent and therefore she was raped. Ultimately she stated she said no. This should have gone to court.

Her background, what she thinks of athletes, what she did the next day, who she texts, does not change that.

I'm sorry what are you gassing about? Don't let the web make you feel tough. I simply disagreed with your post by saying there you have it close the thread and you start ranting like this and I'm the one with the issue? Either calm down or MAN UP!

Even with the small possibilty that he didn't rape the victim, his predilection for the Devil's threesome makes him a nasty MFer.

While I am not 100% confident in the story, I do agree the whole seedy situation should disqualify him the Heisman.

What is JW doing in a bar anyway? Is he 21 yet or did he get a police escort into the club? No wonder they didnt get his blood work he probably was underage drinking and loaded up on X.

I have a very close person to me who was raped by her father . No drugs were involved but the traumatic event of being raped causes memory lapse . Thousands of dollars were spent on Psychologists and mental help but when they would get close to the facts she would literally get go into a catatonic state and withdraw for days on end evading the incident with again memory lapses . Now I know this incident was apparently more traumatic than the one at FSU but the fact is drugs or alcohol were not involved with her but the trauma will cause some denial and loss of or blanking of some memory which could explain this girls loss of memory . All cases are different but being this close and dealing with the Psych people with her taught me some things about what these women experience and go through . Having that knowledge makes me think in this case with bungling of TPD FSUPD and SAO that this did occur and he is guilty strictly in my opinion based on again experience dealing with a victim .

If 50% of the voters left Winston off the ballot because of character issues, he'd still win the Heisman comfortably. There is no clear pecking order amongst the rest of the pack.

For what it's worth, if he did commit a crime, I feel like Winston has been punished. As a public figure, the whole world is going to look at him in this context for a long time. That's a hefty price. No Heisman and NFL contract can wash that off.

I'm not much into mind reading and guessing, but there is one thing about this case that doesn't compute for me. If I were publicly accused of a crime like this AND I was innocent, I would be outraged at the character assassination. No one in Jameis' inner circle is outwardly angry about all of this.

If she was raped, I hope the accuser at least got a pile of FSU booster money.

The real issue remains whether FSU was involved in a cover up of incendiary allegations against one of their athletes.
There is no paper trail to inform us as to whether this hit the desks of the proper individuals, other than the chief of police said he should have known about it and Meggs said he should have known about it. FSU knew about it. They had an obligation under Federal law to investigate it. They didn't.

College ball has an image problem as it is. This can only make it worse.

I think that there is a HUGE issue that some are missing the points here. Casher admitted going into that room, without the girl knowing, he admitted to watching through the cracked opened door, without her knowing. The door was not left opened intentionally for him, he stated it had been broken previously. So if she didn't know, she obviously did not give him consent to stand and watch or try to become a part of what he says was going on, nor to video it. In fact, he stated
"It's a football thing, we don't hide anything", as if that behavior is expected and approved of from their team.
So regardless if the victims accusations are true are not, at this point, I am sickened, that NO ONE from FSU has made a statement at all stating that is not accepted behavior to do that, nor has anyone bothered to , it is certainly not moral behavior, and it damn isn't the behavior of anyone with integrity as a Heisman is supposed to have. I have lost all respect for FSU.

I hope you are kidding. I can only interpret your comment to mean that famous, or notorious, people can be exempt from judicial punishment because they are punished by public opinion.

Don't forget he videotaped the sex act -- and then erased it at a later date. Both are crimes.
