I dont remember the thread or what they said but it still seems like they were right about your post
Sure they happen, but the "victim" is usually looking for something in that instance, and if they don't get it through the legal system or some kind of payoff, which surely would have happened month ago, they'd usually try to go public a long time ago.
A date stamped video of her consenting? lol
I agree though, barring some unbelievable smoking gun evidence like that, even if he has other people who will say they somehow knew it was consensual that's a fight that probably happens after a charge.
Sure, but it's extraordinary unlikely that this woman would call the cops immediately and show them her injuries if she wasn't raped. The odds of that happening are close to zero.
Knowing Tallahassee and its legal system, that charge will somehow not be filed until after approximately 4 P.M. the afternoon of November 30th.
Bingo. As many FSU homers noted initially when trying to help Jameis' case against TPD corruption, he was hardly known at the time (this was still EJ's era, remember). She went to the cops immediately.
Which begs the question, where do they go from here? Once there's a DNA match, is that pretty much grounds for an immediate arrest, given the circumstances (rape kit used, reported crime, etc)? This is touchy as the lives of the victim, Jameis, and their families are in the balance, I don't want to downplay that for football, but...what's the time table here?
Charges filed Friday or early next week would be my guess, although I don't know what else there may still be out there that the SAO may want to look at (or people they would want to talk to) before drafting charging documents.
If they believe they have the evidence to charge him they would have to do it right away. If they sat on it until football season was over seems like they would get crucified. But I am just speculating obviously.
Nothing will happen from this. Why even worry? FSU is going to the BCS, and nothing will stop that.
You're right. He allegedly sexually batters a woman, continues making appearances in the media talking himself up for the Heisman, continues dancing on the sideline and thugging it up with his teammates, allows his lawyer to paint his alleged victim as a liar, and refuses to cooperate with the investigation (although that is his Constitutional right)....totally not a clown. Next, as a response to the DNA findings, you'll hear that the alleged victim was just a "groupie who begged him to bed her." I suppose you think Aaron Hernandez is a great guy also.
You are young you will understand what you did wrong one day but today is certainly not going to be that day. Goodnight
Oh boy. As much as I am trying not to enjoy this trouble for FSU (I know its bad for me to like this happening to them) I just can't help but smile when I think of the emotional mountain FSU fans are going to plummet from if this story goes much further.
Their hero is getting ready to become a zero. So much for their "Tebow"
And he is guilty like i thought he was all along.
I'll bet you he still plays against us. heck I doubt anything will come of this until after the football season
According to Meggs, the SAO for the 2nd District will make a decision by early next week, at the latest.
Not guilty yet. He'll claim it was consensual sex.
All season, things have trended significantly down for UF and trended significantly up for FSU. Perhaps the worm has turned and will walk the other direction for a while.
If he plays against us and even plays in the ACC title game and or the Title game itself and is found to be guilty wouldn't FSU have to vacate those wins?
A innocent man doesn't do what he has been doing and lying to everyone even his own lawyer. First he says nothing happened now he says it was consensual sex........
