Who is ready? It's on my All Timer list. Dropping in from time to time this week during the marathon just cements it for me.

Has any show been able to get you so invested in more despicable characters? Maybe The Sopranos. But since that show's focus was on an organized crime family the rotten-to-the-core wasn't as shocking as it is on BB. Walter was a HS teacher; Jesse was a small-time dealer/junkie; Skyler was a regular Jane. Aside from Walter Jr. and maybe Marie (and she has plenty of non-felonious flaws) everyone was consistently evil to some degree.

Practically every character challenges the viewer. There isn't a virtuous one among them. Even Hank, who despite being "the law" is so obscenely jerky that you can justify the bad guys winning. And Mike? Man, what they did with him throughout the show was incredible. And the supporting characters, while around for some tension-reducing moments like inane high conversations about video games also serve plenty of utility.

    Can't wait.

That's the sweet spot of the whole show, IMO. From there on out things get even more AWESOME. Have fun. Watch fast so we can talk about it!

In my opinion it's the best show on television, probably the best I've seen (although, I've never seen The Wire). It is modern tragedy of the highest execution. I won't post spoilers, but from start to it's final scene, it truly stuck to its vision and left me guessing and satisfied until the very end. I will miss it dearly. I can only hope that someone catches lightening in a bottle like this again. I just wish TV would take a chance on unconventional stories like Breaking Bad.

Vince Gilligan and the writers did a great job of rarely doing what you expected but still having it make perfect sense. Definitely kept you on your toes. Great show, solid ending. One of the best ever.

Loved it. The end definitely had a Tarantino/Pulp Fictiony feel to it.

Anybody else wondering if Huele is still sitting in that safehouse waiting for Hank and Gomez to come back?

Hopefully, there is a spinoff where Huele, Jesse and Brock are starting a new life together in Alaska.

Yep, and I'm thinking that scene where Walt was explaining chemistry to a young woman was probably Gretchen.

Also, where's the rest of the money?!?! Inquiring minds people!

This is the greatest TV show ever. I didn't feel that way in the beginning, but it got better and better each season. Vince Gilligan is a genius.

I had never watched an episode until I caught the pilot when they started the marathon leading up to the end. I literally have spent the last week watching all 62 episodes, I was enthralled from the first one. So much good acting and fantastic characters. There is one scene that sticks in my head, that is where skinny Pete and Badger were in the music store buying the roadie cases and Pete started playing the keyboard like a master pianist. To me it showed what could have been for Pete if it where not for his addiction and spoke in a larger sense to what addiction can take from you.

And I would have punched Marie in the face many times.

Dude, if you absorbed all that tension in one week, you've taken some years off your life .

During the marathon I re-watched the episode where Walt was buying his new condo after moving out of the family residence. He was speaking with the selling agent and told him he would take the model home, as-is. When the agent looked at him with dismay and said it was the model and wasn't the unit Walt would actually purchase, WW turns to him and says "tell me one thing in this world that isn't negotiable." I think Walt came to find out that his family's love and respect were not negotiable. Point-in-fact, WW's last discussion with WW JR. in the "Granite" episode prior to the finale.

LOL it was a very long week if I wasn't sleeping (which I did very little), working (I am self employed so I worked very little wed thru sun) or watching the gator game it was intense. I kept on having to watch because I was afraid I didn't have enough room on my DVR, so I would record and watch. I was 5-6 episodes behind my DVR.

Great finale. It beat the heck out of the Dexter finale.

Loved it and miss it already. Can't wait for Better Call Saul. It's not as good but at least I still have Boardwalk Empire left. Also started watching Ray Donovan which is a fantastic show.
