Aaron Fitt on Baseball America is calling the TAMU/UF game an elimination game, but he doesn't really have anything to base it on other than feeling.

If we don't make the tournament, the team only has itself to blame. We finished the season with 2 winnable series against Auburn and Georgia, and we lost both series. Win at least one of the series and we are probably comfortably in the tournament.

Watch out for those conference tournament upsets. Every time someone like Nebraska wins a conference tournament, that knocks a bubble team out. Just go win it all in Hoover.

The bottom line is that nobody really knows for sure at this point. The consistency in the committee from year to year hasn't really been established over time in baseball like it has in basketball, and there is still isn't enough widespread coverage of the sport that people can fairly compare teams. I'd be willing to bet that some analysts and possibly even members of the selection committee haven't seen one pitch of a BYU or UC Santa Barbara baseball game this year, yet they're two of the teams we'd be competing against for a bubble spot.

We could get in. We could not get in. If we do, great. Take advantage of the opportunity. If we don't, well then we should've played better baseball and won some more games.

Gotta like that draw.....UF has won last 2 matchups vs the two teams they likely face

Pretty sure if we get in then Tally will be the destination

I just don't see how we get in unless we win 2-3 in the tourney, we would play vandy in game 2....I just don't see it. I hope I am wrong.

A & M turned around and beat Vandy yesterday. If it truly was between us and them, we're done. I'm not sure that was the case though. What we need is for there to be no small conference upsets in the 1 bid leagues. We need teams like Campbell and Mercer to win their conference tournaments.

I am sorry to say but I honestly don't see how you guys make it to the tournament this year, in 2011 we had an overall record of 36-20, but had a losing conf. record of 13-17 and the NCAA told us to stay home.

College Baseball Nation has us the first teams out.http://www.collegebaseballnation.net/2013/05/cbn-regional-projections-24.html

Teams for UF to cheer against
B1G: Ohio State/Nebraska winner (would have to beat Indiana twice - unlikely).

Big 12: Kansas/TCU/WVU pod winner (will face KSU/OU for auto bid)

CAA: Northeastern/Towson (Northeastern plays W&M for the right to face Towson, who has to lose twice to miss auto bid. SEBaseball already factors Towson win into bracket though)

CUSA: Memphis/USM (Simple...home team Rice needs to beat Memphis today and USM tomorrow to prevent bid theft)

Sun Belt: Arkansas State (longshot about to get finished off by FAU, it appears)
