    This is the smoking gun....

The IRS scandal was connected this week not
just to the Washington office—that had been established—but to the office of the chief counsel.
That is a bombshell—such a big one that it managed to emerge in spite of an unfocused, frequently off-point congressional hearing in which some members seemed to have accidentally woken up in the middle of a committee room, some seemed unaware of the implications of what their investigators had uncovered, one pretended that the investigation should end if IRS workers couldn't say the president had personally called and told them to harass his foes, and one seemed to be holding a filibuster on Pakistan.
Still, what landed was a bombshell. And Democrats know it. Which is why they are so desperate to make the investigation go away. They know, as Republicans do, that the chief counsel of the IRS is one of only two Obama political appointees in the entire agency.

CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC ignored the story.

There was also a report of the IRS opening an investigation into Christine O'Donnell on the exact day that she announced that she was going to run for Biden's senate seat in Delaware. Furthermore, there was an anonymous IRS tax-lien filed against O'Donnell shortly thereafter that followed her throughout her campaign, used frequently against her by her opponents, that was ultimately rescinded. The IRS' response as to why it was rescinded? It was a mistake....

I'm not saying that O'Donnell was a stellar candidate, but the fact that someone can manipulate the IRS like this against their political foes should scare each and every American.

This administration is, without a doubt, THE most corrupt administration in America's history.

Well now we know why Obama wants to pimp the Trayvon Martin verdict and take attention away from his corrupt and likely criminal administration. I just thought it was his need to make everything about himself as the narcissist in chief.

There needs to be jail-time for those criminals in the IRS... involved with this crap. I wonder if Obama is directly involved?

    Repped, Moc.

Me thinks that if IRS General Counsel (appointed by Obama) was looped in, and wanted investigation as to prior political activity of the applicant group, and unusual questions and roadblocks were created to delay and stall approval of the applicant, we have found the SMOKING GUN.

I have a theory on the Zimmerman case. I think GZ was paid by the government to follow a black guy, get in a fight with and shoot him, to create the current media circus that shows no signs of folding its tent, and keep the IRS scandal (and almost everything else) out of the news.

The media can only cover so much, and right now GZ and TM are it.

only hard left liberals wearing party blinders think this was just some "low level rogue" employees in Cincinnati --- this was orchestrated from the top, but the coverup will be hard to penetrate due to threats and money changing hands.

Sounds just as plausible as some of the things Row and others speculated about. And there is just as much evidence to support this as their scenarios. (which is to say none) But an additional reason might have been to make sure Obama energized his fan base right before the elections. If you recall, he was polling a bit poorly and liberal enthusiasm was very low.

The reality appears to be that the decisions were made by mid-level employees in Cincinnati with oversight from mid-level employees in DC. By the way let's not fprget that 501(c)(4) organizations are prohibited from actively participating in political elections, regardless of where they are on the political spectrum.

While I am a reg. Dem. and not fond of the tea party, but rather conservative, I'm wondering if you could imagine if this had happened to your political affiliation. Would you not see third world implications? Is this somehow an acceptable practice? Should Americans allow this?
