I originally said republican who leans libertarian. Republicans would still vote for him as they would consider anything better than another democrat. I also think he would pick up a majority of moderate votes who find his ideologies refreshing. I believe most moderates are fiscal conservatives and socially liberal. Libertarians and this but too the extreme. That's why I think a republican with libertarian tendencies would fair well. Just my 2 cents.

If you ask people "should government spend less than it brings in," everyone is a fiscal conservative.

It's the minute you start talking specifics, in which case nobody is.

I'll repeat what I said last election. If the GOP wants any chance of winning in 2016 they need to elect someone libertarian leaning. They will never win again without getting that vote. The majority of anyone under the age of 40 is socially liberal, and it increases each election cycle.

My guess is they again shoot themselves in the foot during the primary and end up with another unelectable, uninspiring, hand-picked stiff.

Every year a reliable pub voter dies and is replaced with someone who would never vote pub.

I'd vote for Obama before I'd vote for Bolton. Bolton is a war criminal and he didn't even have the guts to serve his own country in Vietnam. He admitted he dodged the draft, but has been wanting to bomb Iran for years now. He's a coward. I'd rather spit in his face than shake his hand.

Tough to win when the banks aren't backing you and the news media has their own agenda.

Well I am just plain shocked to hear that you feel that way, Mr. Ahmadinejad.

(It's a joke. Presumably you are not actually Mahmoud.)

If you're a fan of more illegal wars, vote for Bolton.

I agree. Bolton is not a serious candidate; that would be like the Ds nominating Bernie Sanders. Cruz is the same.

If the Rs seriously want to win the White House, they need to nominate Christie, Huntsman, or someone along those lines. Bolton, Santorum, Cruz, Perry, et. al., will guarantee another Clinton receiving their mail at 1600 Pennsylvania.

Yeah, he won't win. He won't even be in the primary race.

Bolton's his twin brother. But Bolton is a very smart man and would make a great POTUS.

AmericaLast managed to facepalm on the terms "war criminal" and "illegal war" both within just minutes, not bad.
