No, they aren't. Our interests aren't in a nation building illegal settlements, having rabbis in power that preach racial superiority over gentiles, and nations that carry out false flag attacks on us and blame it on Muslims (USS Liberty). When you say their interests are America's interests, don't complain when terrorists equate the two as the same entity and attack us here. Otherwise, you look like a hypocrite.

No two countries always have the exact same interests.

Uh, as pointed out above, Gore opposed the war, democrats voted against it, and it was an incredibly stupid idea to begin with. There it's absolutely no basis on which to predict we would have indeed anyway, and plenty to predict we wouldn't. I know it's important for some to use this excuse to justify their support of this disastrous policy choice, but not all of us were that dumb or gullible.

Unlikely Gore would have gone into Iraq over an unrelated terrorist group attacking us. AFAIK, Gore was not associated with PNAC.

Lots of politicians and former public officials feel the same way and you claiming to be a libertarian is hilarious. You're a neo-con. Libertarians don't defend the Iraq war or Israel.

It's called being objective. Some are bright enough to know. I am simply calling you and your ilk liars. I did not and do not support the Iraq war. I am just not going to be a stooge and let you lie about what transpired leading up to the war. I would ask if you see the difference, but I fear I wasted my time.

LOL Bush is arguably the most hated president in US history because of the Iraq war and yeah, the WMDs nonsense was nothing but a lie. Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 and furthermore, any weapons he had came directly from us because we allowed him to use chemical weapons on the Iranians in the Iraq-Iran war. Liar sums you up nicely.

Leaving out the editorial comment you started and ended with, the rest are matters of fact.
