I enjoyed parts of this, in a somewhat painful kind of way.

I told you there were some funny bits. Spence is the best.

great stuff. its a shame because muschamp clearly knows football when you listen to him talk, however but so does my brother-in-law......

our red zone offense is 116 out of 123
our total offense is 110 out of 123
our scoring offense is 103 out of 123

    and the last great one:
    fewest penalties per game
we are 115 out of 123

When Weis was here, one of my favorite things to do was listen to his Tuesday (?) press conferences; I really liked the way he talked football.

He really is the best at covering this team. It sucks that we are in this situation, and even though I disagree with him a little bit on where the blame needs to be placed, he comes across as brutally honest.

Oh man. If there was ever something that sums up the way I feel about this program right now, it's the last paragraph. We're stuck in the lifeboat with the lunatic, BUT WE CAN'T LEAVE THE LIFEBOAT. "Eating bitterness" indeed.

yeah, I thought those Weis press conferences were great. I really believed he would turn it around and people were being unfairly harsh on him after listening to him. But ultimately he couldn't get it to work for one reason or another.

I also enjoyed them. Until the "kitchen sink" episode . . . and the sideline cooler shots. . . oh and the shitty offense made things clear.

Ultimately, I fear we have hired Mark Richt. He does just well enough to keep his job with the occasional Sec East or even SEC title, but never really well enough to have great success. I'm not sure I can handle a decade + of that.

I don't think Muschamp is anywhere near Richt's level at the moment.

That is quite a compliment to Muschamp to be calling him Mark Richt. Richt is not a superstar coach by any means, but Muchamp isn't even in the same universe as Richt when it comes to coaching . . . as evidenced by the past three years.

Richt did win an SEC title in his second season at UGa. That's looking pretty impressive right now.
